There are dark places in the universe, where few people dare to tread. Places of cold darkness, blinding light, freezing cold, and burning heat. There is a world that is unique among all others, though. It is inhabited by a sole being called the Unexistant, a creature that uses the world to shape games and images to its liking. However, now it desires a new game, and not just with make-believe toys. Using its massive magical power, the Unexistant has pulled brave heroes from their worlds, along with the terrifying evils that they used to fight.

Eighteen bodies swirled in an endless spiral, each unaware of their condition. A loud laugh boomed, clearly amused. "You...and you!" it cried as Syrene and Haneeve flew together and disappeared in another vortex. "And you two!" the voice shouted again, this time putting Sirius and Bellacruxia together. Several laughs continued to emit from nowhere as pair after pair disappeared into swirling masses of time, each one no more aware than the last. Shorik and Grieva. Davean and Kira. Ryven and Leon. Oscar and Shea. Dahlia and Aerigen. Aja and Regilion. Light and Kyven.

As each awoke, a new existance would begin. The person they were with was a stranger to them, a new person. Would they sense that they were both parts of warring camps, or will they join together to find a way home?

Leon glared at his sister as she stood protectively in front of the dragon-child. Syrene, graceful and lovely as ever, guarding the only known human-dragon hybrid. It disgusted Leon that any member of his family would stoop so low, even his black sheep of a sister. "Rena, move." Leon ordered, using his nickname for her. "No." Syrene replied, her voice determined. Behind her, the abomination flinched. "You cannot defend it forever, Syrene. It killed our family, and it must die." Leon hissed. "He is not a thing! Ralstan has a name, Leon, and you can't destroy him!" Syrene cried, holding her spear out with one arm. It was only a few yards from Leon's face. Swirls of green energy appeared at Leon's palms. "Syrene..." he growled, waiting for his sister to let up. The two siblings stared at each other, unmoving. And then everything went dark.

Now Leon was on his back, sprawled out on a hard granite floor. He looked around and saw a girl who was lying on her side, also unconscious. And then he became aware of the place he was in.

It was the Water Shrine, where he had confronted Syrene about the dragon-child, but it was so different. It was metallic, cold, and the Goddess Icon was missing. There was no way this was the Water Shrine. But it felt so familiar...where were Syrene and 'Ralstan', though? The strange girl was the only person there, and he had never seen her before. For the first time in ten years, Leon was shaken. He had wanted to be rid of Syrene, but now that she was nowhere to be found, he felt isolated. Alone. At that point, Leon became aware of a strange glow behind him. Purple light was coming from the girl's eyes, and she was standing up. "Who the hell are you?" she snapped. "Leon. Leon fon Sylph. And you are?" Leon replied. "Ryven. Ryven Silverfall."

[PsychoKath]

Ryven stood braced aginst the wall with her hands around Kyven's neck, while barreling him with jolt after jolt of violet flame. Kyven dug his knee into her stomach and was sheilding himself from her blasts- the sweat on his brow told her that she was winning. Soon she would be able to take him out and that would be one less traitor, one less member of the Company.
"You would kill your own brother, Ryven?!" Kyven managed to choke out. Tears filled her eyes while she prepared her final blow.
"You aren't my brother anymore." As she began her strike, the world went black.

Ryven woke on her side, in a place that was the room in the factory but wasn't. Kyven was nowhere to be seen, she was fully rested, and there was a man directly in front of her. Uneasyness racing through her body she wondered what fresh hell she had been sent to now, what horrible fate would she have to face. She was tired of fighting, yet the situation looked to be like that is what it might come to. Gathering herself, she prepared herself and spoke, "Who the hell are you?" she snapped.

The man turned around and replied lowly," Leon. Leon for Sylph. And you are?" She frowned. Was he playing dumb or did he honestly not know who she was?

"Ryven. Ryven Silverfall.," she told him icily. "Why have you taken me here? And where IS here? Answer quickly," she growled.

"I don't know where we are, and I was not the one who brought us here. I was hoping you would tell me," he answered, somewhat calmly.

"Right," she rolled her eyes. "So you expect me to belive that i was torn from the fight with my brother to this place that kind of looks like the factory and put here with you by, what, magic?"

He frowned a little. "Yes, I suppose." That one threw her off. Most of the bully boys she'd been up against hadn't had the brains to be honest and answer her questions. Usually by now they had began shooting. She looked him up and down, decided that he wasn't someone she couldn't handle easily in a fight, and relaxed slightly. She stopped preparing her glow and her eyes returned to their normal violet- her hands stopped glowing altogether.

"What the hell? I'm half bird and do magic myself so I suppose that anything is possible," she stated, throwing her arms into the air in defeat. In a bitter undertone she added, "Especially in this fucked up world." Now she looked at the man, Leon, and noted that since she had stopped glowing he had relaxed slightly. Good, the fact that she made him uneasy could be used to her advantage. His silence unnerved her slightly - maybe the guy was as frightened as she was? Deciding that she still didn't trust him but that she had to do something or else she would scream, she smiled her most comforting smile. " Please tell me that you are as freaked out by all of this as I am? Because right now I feel like curling into a ball and squeezing my eyes until things go back to normal."

[Shorik]

As Shorik Malentfeis climbed the last few steps of the Tower of Dreviux, his heart began to race. Five.. four... three more steps to the man he once called his brother.

"Shorik.. Why am I not surprised?" said the calm, sinister voice.
Shorik glared ahead at Aerigen Malentfeis. He had caused Shorik so much pain in such short time.
"So, why have you come all this way?" Aerigen asked, still calm and confident.
"I've come for many reasons, Aerigen." Shorik said, drawing his sword, "To end your reign over Aerion, for starters. Most importantly though, to avenge Teesha!"
With those words, Shorik rushed forwards to strike Aerigen. However, Aerigen teleported behind Shorik, and prepared a spell. The young warrior turned around and began to rush at Aerigen once more, but quickly, his body tired out, and fell to the floor. Shorik's vision faded too, and soon enough, he was unconcious.

Shorik eventually woke up, and stood up slowly. He was still atop the Tower of Dreviux, but it wasn't the same. Instead of dark, stormy clouds covering the horizon, there was fire dancing about endlessly. The tower was still pitch black in colour, and it still was placed in the middle of a forest. However, as Shorik looked down upon the forest, he realized that the trees had died, and where withered. Instead of birds flying through the air, there were imps.
"What happened?" the young warrior asked.

Then, Shorik heard footsteps behind him. He turned around, and saw the silhouette of a woman on the other side of the tower.
"Who's there?" he called out.

[Shorik]

Aerigen had been ready for Shorik's attack, when he suddenly felt weak. It was the first time he had felt like this in a long time. He then passed out.

As he woke up, the Dark Mage looked around. He was in front of a structure somewhat resemblant of the Tower of Dreviux. It was just as tall, and still had it's pitch black colour, but it was also partly a manor. Gargoyles were stationed around the tower at various points. Curious what was going on, Aerigen entered the tower.

The inside of the tower was perhaps more different than the outside. Pictures of various vampires were hung around the room, and there was a pale, creepiness to everything. The furniture was just as royal as the originals, yet they had a darker tone. One vampire picture stuck out at Aerigen. It was of a tall, red haired female vampire.
"Hmph..." he said, not pleased with the change his tower had undergone. He then noticed a young woman ahead of him.
"Another intruder?" he thought, "I could understand Shorik.. but now this?"

[Tusk]

Standing in the feilds of Andor, blasts of light and dark energy whipped across the plains as if they were dancing. In the middle of these blasts, stood two men. One was a man in silver full plate armor, the other in dark clothing. It was an epic battle between Davean and Regilion.
" This fight will have to stop. "
Shouted the Cleric as he deflected another powerful blast from the deepest reaches of the void.

" Stop? I can not stop until you are dead. Sal demands it and I will follow my master's bidding. "
Regilion shouted back as a black sword appeared and he charged in. Davean only looked worried as the blade hit Tor's Sheild and a swing of a mace laced with fire was swung. Regilion jumped back as he began laughing. He Then tore open a path to the void as it began to glow. It then shot off a powerful blast of dark energy. Davean stood his ground and prayed. He then raised his hand and a blast of holy white energy collided with the dark. A massive explosion occured.

Davean awoke in what looked like the feild he was fighting on. No it was far diffrent. The feeling he got from this place threw him off and he felt that he was not alone. The grass did not feel like the grass from Andor. It felt more like glass and it even looked black. The sun was up, but the sky seemed like it was stuck in the evening time. He looked around to see another figure there, but This person was not Regilion. He rushed over to the personAnd began checking for injuries with a prayer to Tor. Tor's magic even felt diffrent. It felt far more powerful here. So far the person had no injuries and the Cleric could not just leave him. Davean just sat mext to the person, waiting to see when the person would wake up. There was two things he knew. These lands were not something he would want to travel alone, and he needed answers as to what happened.

[Gafe]

At one moment, it had been all too clear: They had to put their differences aside and defeat those blocking their way, blocking their world. It'd been a rather long journey, filled with hardships and horrors - particularly for him - but they'd gotten where they needed to be. Not their goal, but those that had made them turn to that precise goal. Perhaps, if they defeated them now, everything could go back to how it once was.
Those were just immature Oscar's thoughts, anyone else could be thinking much clearer, more determined thoughts.
The elementalist turned to look at his friends (yes, friends), the gunner, the summoner, the swordsman, the illusionist, the tank [] and nodded. Whatever their thoughts were, the common intention was clear.
Now he looked ahead of him, there were as many opponents as there were allies. However, the opponents were presumably much more powerful.
Oscar, however, was being eyed by one of the enemies curiously. Haneeve Aetos looked at Oscar surprised, out of all people, he was there to fight him. A fight? What a splendid idea! The perfect test for the imperfect person.
By then, Oscar had noticed he was being watched by a man with a dreadful-looking sword, black armor and a helmet. One of the worst possible people he'd thought he could face off with.
Then, as if on cue, his allies ran up to an opponent, leaving Oscar to face off against the man watching him. He followed suit.
Oscar ran at Haneeve, one of his staves in hand ablaze. Upon meeting him, he swung the staff with mighty force he couldn't have mustered in the beginning of the journey. The blow was parried, by the man's sword. Trying a different approach, he made the earth open and summoned wind to knock Haneeve off balance, then directed another blow at the man. Apparently though, the armor was too heavy for the wind to have an impact and instead, Oscar's blow was evaded, and his opponent's sword was about to be thrusted into his chest.

And then all went black.

Both Haneeve and Oscar felt the black spiral, but could not do anything. They felt a separation, and next thing he knew, Oscar landed on a rock and passed out.
When he woke up, he noticed he was in a vast forest, brittle trees made it up. They resembled those woods he had trod in along with his teammates at the beginning of their journey. Ouch, thinking about his friends hurt, he couldn't even remember them. Perhaps the rock had made him forget. Amnesia? He remembered his enemy and the journey - somewhat.
Oscar stood up and looked around, he soon noticed he wasn't alone. There was another person with him. A redhead.
"Hello", he greeted. "Could you tell me where I am?"

Haneeve, on the other hand, didn't recognize where he was. But like Oscar, he found himself accompanied by another woman. He didn't recognize her either.
Instead of taking chances, Haneeve unsheathed his sword. "Where am I, and how was I brought here, little lady?"

[Vale]

Sirius and Kira were standing, surprisingly.
"You know...Sister. You never were the one for talks!" He shouted, flinging strands of dementia directly towards Kira, each being deflected and altered.
Kira, replying in kind with the Malice as well as her own Dementia.
"You are obsolete brother. You fight for Cyrus? He plans to eclipse this world yet again! You know nothing of what he is trying! He succeeded in destroying Bastille all of those years ago." She shouted, right about as Cyrus was standing up to begin the eclipse.

Sirius cast a gaze back, back at the elf who had helped him, the whisp of his mother...Teysa, of Malkelia, of everyone of...he paused.

Noticing a dementia tendril through his chest he felt as though he was being absorbed by it. No, not by it, it was something else....something different, Kira as well was being absorbed by this, this strange substance.

When Kira awoke, she was beneath a Cleric, her white dress flowing around her as she floated a bit off the ground.
"Who are you?" She shouted, ready to strike Davean with Dementia and Malice. "Where are we? Where is Sirius?!"

[Bryden]

"You can't do this!" the normally quiet and mousy Aja Rellina screamed. "It isn't right!"
"It isn't riiiight," mocked Shea LaErie, making her voice even more high-pitched and annoying then it already was.
"Of course it's right! Why would my friend lie to me?"
"You're sick!" the girl spat. "You have to let him go!" She gestured to the young man hog-tied and bleeding. He had wire-cuts all along his body, his lips had been removed, and Shea was about to stick a bamboo skewer in his right eye.
She looked about to say something. Her lips were open in a mocking, cruel smile.
Then the smile was gone from Aja's vision, and the words were snatched away.
Bluish-white light surrounded her, and a sound like whistling wind blocked her hearing.
Next thing she knew, she was hitting the ground. Hard.
She opened her eyes to see a rather frightening looking man standing over her with a sword trained to her throat.
"eep," she squeaked, unable to form words.

Shea, meanwhile, was also disoriented and faced with somebody questioning her.
She could prolly take him, though.
"Hell if I know!" she spat, turning to face him. She'd lost the wooden skewer and her victim, which truly put her off, but at least her dagger was still at her hip.
She ran a hand, fingers stained with blood, through her flame hair.
We are not in our world, one of her voices told her.
They do not know you here, added another.
"So do I get fresh meat?" she asked happily, probably confusing th e man she was faced with.
Yes! the many voices sang in unison.
"YAY!"

Kyven tightened his grasp aorund his sisters throat, struggling to keep his sheild up and shield himself from her violet flame. He was lucky that she hand't gone for a stronger atack yet- to her this would be mere child's play. His eyes widened when he saw her preparing for a larger stirike; quickly he rebuilt his defenses and decided to go for a mental attack.
"You would kill your own brother, Ryven?!" he managed to choke out. Tears filled her eyes, the comment had struck home.
"You aren't my brother anymore." RYven replied and as she began her blow, the world went black.

He woke up sprawled on his back, and when he sat up he half expected to see his sister standing over him with a gun, but Ryven was nowhere to be seen. Had she managed to kill him again? But no, this place was not Hell- somehow he was still alive. He had no idea where he was and as he dimly noted that this place slightly resembled the factory, he realized that he wasn't alone.
Another man was lying on his side, now beginning to stir. Kyven's eyes glowed blood red and fire gathered in his palms, "Who the hell are you?" he asked.

[Eva]

Sword clashed against claw as Light tried desperately to avoid the waves of darkness Grieva was launching at him. Her blood red eyes gleamed, while his dark violet orbs tried to remain focused. "Think of the ramifications of your actions! This cannot go on!" she screeched, repelling one of Light's sword strikes. "No matter the price, I can NEVER harm another human being!" Light shouted, swinging at Grieva as she weaved through the fires of Hell. Her red cape made her almost invisible amidst the flames, whilst he stood out like a sore thumb. "Search for the true meaning behind your words." Grieva whispered. Her silver hair swirled as she glided towards Light, and before either could strike, everything blanked out.


Light awoke in what seemed to be a factory, although it had many sharp black spikes and appeared to be on fire. If he didn't know better, he could swear he was still in Hell. Some brat shouted at him, so Light began to get up. "Hey, shut the fuck up, you little asshole." he snapped. He checked his sword, which was still intact, and looked around for Grieva. She was gone. But where? "Hey, have you seen a creepy demoness hanging around? Silver hair, red eyes, little to no clothing, boobs the size of your head?" Light asked the boy.


Grieva floated in the air, her eyes fluttering open. She easily absorbed her surroundings, deducing that she was in a tower that seemed to be made out of aspects of her home. "Oh. I guess we're not in Kansas any more." she said as the two demons from her cape emerged, hissing at the unfamiliar area. "Calm down. I think I hear someone nearby." Grieva whispered. She floated down the tower and towards the voice, landing softly on her bare feet. The red gem on her forehead glowed for a moment. "Shorik. Your name is Shorik. And you are deeply frightened." she whispered, her voice tingling with excitement. The two demon tentacles emerged once again and hissed, this time in joy.

Spikes of ice flew past Dahlia's head, which she narrowly avoided. She flew threw the vast halls of Blackfire Mansion, weaving past collumns and the magic being thrown at her. "Run, run, as fast as you can. But this is MY home, and I know everything." the voice behind her cackled. Dahlia turned around and braced herself for the ice spear that had been thrown at her. She managed to take the hit, but was slowed considerably. Above her, Bellacruxia appeared and began to fly down. "Prepare to die!" she screeched. An elegant bow appeared in Dahlia's hands, and she used to to hold Bellacruxia in place. They were now face to face, struggling. "You...are the only person I can never lose to!" Dahlia shouted, feeling her strength slowly leaving her. The pure coldness of Bellacruxia was known to sap the power of others. "You will fall like all the rest." Bellacruxia laughed. Just as Dahlia's grip began to fail, everything went dark.

Dahlia awoke in a twisted, deformed concept of her home. The mansion was now twisted like a tower, and bent up strangely. She heard a voice behind her and spun around. It was a man, seemingly normal-looking. "Hello. What's going on here?" Dahlia asked.

Bellacruxia, meanwhile, was throwing spears of ice all around herself, trying to hit whoever had transported her. Only when she noticed the young man, with dark red hair, on the ground near her did she stop. Her elegant black dress swept the floor as she approached him. "Awaken." she muttered, using her power to lower the boy's body temperature. That would wake him up.

[Eva]

Syrene's head hurt. That's all she knew. Leon...had he won? No, certainly not, she said to herself. The dragoon stood up and massaged her head, realizing that Ralstan was no longer with her. "Ralstan! Ralstan, come here!" she shouted, her green hair matted from sweat. Then Syrene heard a sword being drawn behind her and spun around, spear pointed out. It was a man in dark armor, not a good sign. "Where am I, and how was I brought here, little lady?" he demanded. Syrene's eyebrows creased. "Beats me." she replied, relaxing herself. She had decided that, although he looked foreboding, the man was just as confused as she was. "Maybe if we explain ourselves, we can come up with a reason as to why we are here. I'm Syrene fon Sylph. I was...defending someone before I came here." she explained.

[Eva]

Leon let out a nervous, and somewhat forced, laugh. "I must admit that there have been less trying times than now. I think that your plan is sound." he laughed. "However, if we are here for a reason, then we should perhaps find a way to find out what that reason is. I hardly want to explore this place, as it seems very...unsafe, but in the end we have little to no choices left. Whatever we do, it will most likely accomplish nothing." he said. "Are you up to looking around, or would you prefer to stay here and keep watch over the little factory?" he asked, motioning around. He smiled and extended his hand. "Ladies first."
