Xee laughed her ass off at Roxi's suggestion. She seriously and literally hooted, and actually smiled. Everyone else at the table looked a bit frightened at Xee, of all people, laughing. That rarely happened. Unless she was running someone over, of course.
"Haw!" she laughed, "That's the funniest thing I've heard all week!" She honestly wasn't being sarcastic; she found it funny.
She smiled- though her friendliest smile was still only a sneer- and then turned back to Neve, who didn't look half so amused.

"...comical as that is, Roxanne," she said Coolly, "I doubt it will work quite as you plan."
She smiled to herself as Roxi shrank back slightly. She was hyper... and Neve detested hyper.
"However..." she continued, "I believe and compounding of the other plans may be very well suited." She smiled slightly at those around the table.
She turned in her seat and pressed a button on an ultra-thin remote. A screen slid down from the ceiling and stopped smoothly in the middle of the table. It blinked to life and emitted a soft blueish glow.
Another button was pressed, and maps, charts, coordinates, and plans appeared in various windows on the large screen.
"Suppose we were to make a combined plan out of various suggestions," she began, looking rather pleased with herself.
"We begin by taking out her allies-" she smiled at her daughter- "She will be alone without even knowing it. I'd rather bribe then kill... but it will be simple enough to slit a few throats if it should come to that.
"Once we have her cabinet and staff on our side, finding her dirty little secrets will be all too easy. Will will use these to force her from office under disgrace. Then, we will make good on threats made. Even if she does step down, we will still use whatever dirt we find on her to muddy her name further.
"Only then, when she is utterly alone and disgraced, will we finally take her out once and for all." Neve's cold smile widened. "An example for others, don't you think?"
A row of names and pictures flashed on the screen.
"We will need the best. Lawyers, politicians, cops... there is nobody who cannot be bribed." She conveniently left out that the president could not be bribed.
"So, who wants to do what?"

Rosa leaned forward with a smile spreading across her face. "You know what I can do. My sellers have extensive records on who does what and where- no doubt Madame President's cabinet has dabbled in vices, and all I have to do is scrounge around for records. All I need is a list of names, and by the next day I guarantee you'll have more than enough dirt on the entire cabanet." she said. "Also, there are some legal counsel I have on my side. Combined with Saul's legal expertise, we'll have that side wrapped up in a neat little package." Rosa tucked a loose strand of blonde hair behind her ear and smiled delicately. "Unless someone else has a better idea, that is."

" For those who ignore those ideas of blackmail and bribery, I will pay them a little visit. I am pretty sure I can make then cooperate, if not tell me everything they know about this woman. This part will be easy enough for me. "
He said as he looked at the map. He was looking at stratigic points as to where he could strike. He would no doubt start from the bottom and work his way up. Maybe the defiant captians of the police force should do the trick. His face left a blank expression as he continued to study. No one could ever really tell what he was thinking and he perfered to keep it like that.

"And for all the ones we haven't gotten information on through Rosa or Jason, or are too paranoid and have beefed up security, you can send me. If there end up being mroe of these than we thought I could possibly team up and split the list with Guilford- to make it move faster." she suggested.

Any who were looking at the girl while she spoke could see The Change begin to take place. Her face was losing its childish joy and becoming cold, her eyes turning to steel. If work was to start son, Mirage would fully take over. If there was to be more time then Mirei would fight back and regain control. She looked at Neve expectantly.

Cyrus was back at his job, or at least the job he was hired for.

Personal Security for a High Class Individual. I guess if they wanted to protect this woman, they did a good job hiring the man who had the potential to kill her. Clever, Clever Police officers.

"Mr.....Cyrus." One of the higher ranking detectives spoke. "Although we appreciate your pressence here, we know of your past. Do not think by doing this job you are pardoned."
"Whatever do you mean?" Cyrus asked, rhetorically.
"We know your one of the Highest Ranking Assassins in the country, as well as that you hold several records for break ins, murders, as well as serial killer status."
"If you knew all of these things, Detective. Why did your Leader decide to pay me for my services." Cyrus asked.
"Some things," The detective replied, "are outside of the realm of the law. Tell me...what do you know of the Syndicate?"
"Rivalry..nothing more, nothing less." Cyrus spoke, "May I inquire as to why you care?"
"You may not." The Detective replied. "Just think of it like this, we're not hiring you for security, consider yourself the right arm of this organization."
"I'm not a dog of the police." Cyrus spoke. "So you can shove your little deal.."
"We're not giving you a choice. Just a list, and a payroll. You have complete discretion to whatever your methods, as long as these people...well...don't find themselves on the cover of the times." The Detective spoke, rising to his feet.

Cyrus gazed down at the list.
"I know these people, or at least know of their names. I dealt with this one...Rosa...her accomplices this morning." Cyrus spoke. "Why are they so important?"
"They're not, the woman they work for is the most important. Killing them is just adding to your pay stub. We believe this woman....Neve...is to be the ring leader."
"That doesn't matter to me." Cyrus spoke. "As I said I'm not a dog of the police."
"Your wife was murdered wasn't she? Gunned down by someone with white hair, am I correct?"
"Go fuck yourself, asshole." Cyrus staunchly replied.
"It's just...the description of the gunman...or gunwoman...matches the one we believe to be running the Syndicate. Your gunner was never found, were they?"
"What's the target's name?"

"Neve..."

"You've got my attention..."

Neve looked at her adopted daughter and smiled. She had bloodlust. Neve was so proud!
She pressed another button on her remote. Page after page of printed paper [ooc: Say that five times fast. I dare you.] slid from the bottom of the screen. Neve collected them and passed them out along the table.
It was funny that tech had come so far, and yet people stilled relied on the printed word on page for most functions.
The papers had lists of names and pictures and other identifying info on them. Some people had the same pages, other had different.
"I will assign each of you to a unit," Neve explained. She sounded somewhat excited.
"Rosa, Jason, and Roxanne," she said, looking at each, "You are unit A. Your list has names of those known to be bribe-able, and those who can be threatened into it. Rosa, you and Roxanne will seek these people out, one by one, and propose our offer to them. We all know that money is no obstacle-" she laughed "-but don't let them get too greedy. Jason will step in for those who ignore the ladies' kind offers."
She crossed her legs primly at the ankles.
"Merei- Mirage-, Guilford, and Xeenia," she glanced over each once more. "Your list has known un-bribe and un-threaten-ables," she smiled. IT was a smile with unimaginable cruelty laced inside of it. "You will do what you do best. Xee can drive."

Xee sneered. "I can kill people, you know!" she said loudly, following it up with a string of swears.

"I know you can. But you and Miss Roxanne will be summoned soon for a special assignment. Just keep your teeth on."
Neve looked excited. Her plans never failed, and she saw this as fun.
"Keep in mind, my comrades- this is only phase one. Only the beginning."

Roxi smiled uncertainly at Xee, whom she'd never seen laugh before, and deffinately not at her. But there was a small glint of honesty in her eyes when she truely found her idea funny. . . but Roxi wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not. It wasn't her fault she felt every problem could be fixed with explosions; they were her speciality after all. But when Neve dismissed her plan, she shrank back slightly, half dissapointed, half humiliated.

She listened quietly for a while, listening to everyone's ideas repectively, then fixing her attension back on her boss. Neve handed out sheets of paper to everyone, each one with a list of names. She looked back up at Neve, who began telling them all of her plans. Roxi smiled at Jason and Rosa, and scanned through her list again. There were quite a few names on the list, and she reckonised a few of the names, most of them supplying her . . . 'effects' to help make her bombs.

Roxi's head snapped up as Xee 'commented' to Neve about her job, to which Neve answered back in her calm voice, saying that Xee and herself were going to be teamed up on some sort of special assignment later. Roxi smiled at Xee uncertainly again.
"Look's like we're gunna be causin' some mischief later Xee!" Rxi said, attempting her usual brovardo. She got up from her seat and walked over to Rosa and sank into the seat next to her.
"So. . . who'd you reckon we should 'persuade' first?", She asked, using quotation fingers on the word, 'persuade'.

There was panic everywhere he laid eyes on. For one thing, most of the assistants were out in a break or buying coffee or whatever; several of the newly hired employees were at a loss, they didn't know what to do nor how things ran in the office. The trained employees were trying to calm everything down, while not really getting any job done. Only his most trusted workers were actually getting any work done, and little at that. Important papers were flying around with unimportant ones, pens of every color and style decorated the floors and their ink was dying the carpet a murky color.
And this happened every single time a new president was elected. Sometimes, being a trusted company had its disadvantages. There were hundreds of documents to go through that hadn't passed when the last president was in office that needed to be changed, signed again, and sent again to the hands of those that had requested them.
Only the thought that every criminal file was safe in his office - to which only he had access to - gave Saul Luna any comfort at all. "Warren, you're in charge".
With a sigh, he left his loud emplyers to themselves, pressed a 10 letter and digit code on a control panel and entered his office. The door closed behind him, and Saul looked at the peacefulness of his own desk. There was a wide, reinforced window to the side that let sunlight in, and a couple of plants that gave the room a cozy, yet professional environment.
He sat on his chair - oh, how he loved that chair - and went through papers of his own. The calmness, however, didn't last long.
"Mr. Luna, Sir, there's somebody here to see you", came an all-too girly voice from an intercom,
Saul sighed again, rolled his eyes and spoke into the machine, "Let them in only if it's actually urgent, Irene."

Cyrus stepped through the door and gazed over to the Lawyer in front of him.
"You know, Mr. Luna. Your office is quite the hectic area." Cyrus spoke, nodding a bit to himself.
"I've made sure, or at least thought that I have come to the right place." He finished, walking directly towards the chair where Saul Luna was standing.

"You know, I've got a feeling, that I'm right here." Cyrus finished, sitting down right in front of the 42 year old man. "A word of rumor has come to my ears, that you sir...are after the woman in charge of the Syndicate. Am I correct?" He spoke, raising an eyebrow.

"I'm sorry, I've failed to introduce myself. I am Cyrus Treybore, or as many of your papers will have me listed, I am known as Valentine." Cyrus nodded his head, a sign of respect.
"To answer the question you're going to ask; no, I'm not a member of syndicate. You and I, just have similar motives. We both are after the same goal...the destruction of the Syndicate." Cyrus spoke, as he shifted his head to the side.

"And no, your law suits will not fall through with me. Needless to say, the individual I work for...you also abide by." Cyrus finished, smiling a bit.

"So...can I count you in? The New President would be much more in favor of you...if you agree."

Saul's face was skeptic at first, mistrusting, even. Valentine, Treybore the assassin was sitting in his office and had entered quite rudely. It was impossible not to recognize those features after studying his cases and charges as closely as he had. The pictures were scarce, really, but the few he'd gotten his hands in had been as zoomed in and as virtually cleaned as possible.
However, as the assassin kept on talking, the warm smile that characterized Saul Luna appeared. Most people didn't know the people the lawyer had as business partners. Most people shouldn't. And it looked like he had just made a new partner.
"Frankly, Mr. Treybore, I don't care about the president of the United States. As anyone does, I just want more recognition." Saul stood from his chair and walked over to a locked drawer. After unlocking and opening it, he took out two files.
"This here, Mr. Treybore, is everything I have on the Syndicate. It's not much, sadly, but with your cooperation I expect these files to grow in size.
"As I hope you are aware of, I've recently put a Syndicate member behind bars. He was inexperienced, a rookie to put it. He didn't give any valuable information, but the leader hadn't inflicted as much fear in him as he-or she- has in other members, and thus he spilled a few pieces of information."
He walked over to where the assassin was sitting and handed him the files. "Read them, and please afterwards share with me everything you know about the Syndicate". That was Saul, he was direct and conscise.
"I assume you've deduced you can definitely count me in, Valentine".

[Vale]

Cyrus gazed them over quickly and looked back at Saul.
"Well, as no doubt YOU have assumed, your information is nothing too extensive. And I know you won't be able to hold them in contempt for anything." He spoke, rising to his feet.

"I'm aware I had your co-operation, otherwise I would have just taken these and killed you." He smiled, a joke...but not a very subtle one.

"To be frank, it is unknown as to how many of these people work for you, or for anyone. What I do know, is that at least one of the higher-ups is named Rose, and she works many of the working girls throughout this city." Cyrus spoke. "Yes, I had to do a bit of field research to determine this."

Standing to his feet he sighed.
"Apparently, this company...this Syndicate, knows of the President's actions, and what it means to them." He finished, crossing his arms.
"I have a hunch that we can target these people through the seedy underworld that is our City."

And just like that Mirei gave in and Mirage took full control, scanning the list and memorizing its contents, one the others had done the same she would destroy it; just in case. A cold smile appeared on her lips as she read the first name, it was that of a prominent businessman- no doubt he would be the source for much of the presidents 'extra curricular' funds. She would deal with him first. In a voice very different from that of Mirei, Mirage addressed Xee and Guilford.

" Do what you need to do and meet in the office below in about an hour. We take Mr. Maneacha first." Swiftly getting up from the table she got into the elevator and went back to her rooms to change, planning all the way. Mirei would be disappointed that she hadn't gotten a day to herself, perhaps Mirage would make it up to her later. Opening the closet doors she grabbed her 'work' clothes and suited up.

A simple outfit, made out of materials that weren't really even cloth- a special piece of technology designed like clothing. It was harder than armour and at her slightest order it covered where she needed it to cover and changed its color. A useful thing, in her line of work. A short sleeve black top cut accross the midriff, with black chains tied above her belly button. Low rise black pants with a chain hanging off of her pocket; and of course, the standard knee high black combat boot- with special sockets on the bottom that made it seem as though she was walking on the ground when she was truely just above it. Those shoes plus her special fabic made it all too easy for one of her skill to move soundlessly. And perhaps the ebst part of the outfit was her two chains- these were her weapon of choice. In a world full of guns and such, which she had stored on her person, she still only used them asa last resort; the chain being more simple. She had a crush of sorts on old fashioned type things.

Once she grabbed her phone she was ready- the process having taken about 45 minutes. Mirage quietly left her apartment and waited in the breifing room for the other two.

Guilford continued to stand there as the others discussed what was going on. “It seems that it is time to do more work for the Lord” thought Guilford, looking over the list. “I have been tasked with the judgment of these individuals and their punishments must be carried out” he continued. Guilford walked back into the elevator, dropping his cigarette into a small disposal bin as he passed by. He turned and watched as the silver doors silently slid shut, closing him off from the world. He slowly descended the few floors until he reached the floor he controlled. He walked out and was quickly joined by a cloaked figure that swiftly walked beside him. “Is everything ready for my departure” rasped Guilford. “Yes” murmured the cloaked figure with a small bow.

The man was a member of Guilford’s personal squadron of men known as the Acolytes. These individuals were Guilford’s constant source of information and kept tabs on all aspects going on around the city. They had a hundreds of monitors and hidden members amongst the city that allowed Guilford to have pristine information whenever going out for an assignment. Guilford demanded absolute loyalty and received it. He had personally picked all of these men and they served him loyally. Guilford walked up to the main control room of the floor. There were the monitors, all fixed upon the wall, sitting in chairs in front of the monitors, constantly fiddling with levers and knobs were other members of the Acolytes. “Lord Guilford, we have yet to discover the location of your target but we shall have it before you arrive” spoke a member of the Acolytes. Guilford merely nodded and continued to stare out at the screens. Hundreds of images flashed all showing different scenes. A few people walked in a park, a pizza delivery boy went out for a smoke, a cocaine deal went down within seconds outside of a small alley way. “I am leaving now” rasped Guilford, turning to leave. “After a few steps Guilford turned back. “Are you still monitoring that other thing” rasped Guilford. “Yes, sir” nodded an Acolyte seated at the bank of monitors. “Continue to do so” rasped Guilford turning once again to leave.

As he neared the elevator, Guilford took a small turn and entered his room. He entered his walk in closet and retrieved a few things. Two silenced 9mm pistols, a small vial, and a large over coat. He put the coat over him, allowing his arms to remain outside of the sleeves and simply had the coat draped around him. When going out Guilford liked to maintain his appearance in his suit. If anything he did not need to have a battle suit as if he was in that dire of situations then things were certainly not going well. Guilford entered the elevator and stood there as it descended the multiple floors to the conference room. He exited and saw Xee already standing there. “I am leaving to take out this target” said Guilford, pointing to a name on the list. Guilford turned and once again entered the elevator and descended further. The man’s name was Max Woldstein and he was in charge of the Secret Service division that kept watch over the President.

Rosa thought for a moment and sighed. "Very well then. I have a few cases that Mr. Luna is working on, so I'll go check up on those and ask him if he can do some looking into the people you've shown me. Roxanne, Jason, you know my number. If my phone is off, Alexander will take whatever messages you have." she said, warm and businesslike as always. She waved, as usual, on her way out.

Rosa's driver, Alexander, smiled at her when she left the building. She smiled back, only to make him feel well. Alexander had a rather obvious affection for Rosa, and he displayed it however he could. But Rosa had no interest in romance, sex, or relationships, so his offers for companionship were constantly turned down, albeit nicely so. And it was awful, too, since Alexander was such a nice boy. A bit young, four years her junior, but kind and with a boyishly handsome face. Rosa entered the backseat of her sleek black Mercedes and sat comfortably. She lowered the mirror, closing the window between her and Alexander, and began to freshen her makeup. She usually prefered to be a clean slate, but she was meeting Saul, a man who clearly appreciated a put-together person.

After a few minutes(Alexander was a positvely superb driver, he seemed to know every single shortcut in the city; he earned his 100$ tips) Rosa climbed out of her car and nodded at Alexander, who retrieved a magazine from his glove compartment and began to read. Used to the route, it took Rosa only a few mintues to navigate the chaos of Saul's offices to reach his door, at which point the secretary denied her admission. "Sorry. Mr. Luna is busy." she said, her voice grating Rosa's thin patience. "Tell him it's Rosalie, and that unless he's bargaining with Death itself, he'd better open the fucking door because I am in no mood today." Rosa snapped, extending her name with venom. This girl was clearly new, so she'd probably mistake her for someone Saul knew. Not too far from the truth, of course, since Rosa worked with Saul often to exonerate her girls. The name 'Rosalie' was the one he knew her by, used only when he was with other people. She tapped her stiletto-clad foot impatiently.

Roxi smiled at Rosa as she left, then looked over at Jason.
"Look's like we're splitting up. If you know anyone on this list, then go for'em. I know these two-" she said, getting up, going over to Jason and pointing out two names on the list. One was close to the top and the other was the last name. "-So i'll go and see if i can persuade 'em. Shouldn't be a problem, they both owe me favours anyway". She smiled at Jason, bid everyone goodbye, and bolted for the elevator, to make a quick pitstop in her apartment before she was going to set off.

After a few quiet moments of travel, the door dinged, and she quickly walked out and into her cluttered area. Her level looked like a cross between a science lab and a frat boys house. Clothing was shrewn all over the floor and hung over the back of the sofa and chairs. the neat area was the part that looked like the science lab, where Roxi constructed all her bombs and explosives. The walls were bare except for a large sign on the far wall which said "Light up in here, and you WILL DIE. One way or another", with a large smily face underneath.

Roxi grabbed her sachel from her bed, paused in front of the mirror, to make sure that she was neat enough so that people wouldn't run from her when she walking down the street, then took the elevator to the man floor.

Five minutes later, Roxi was wheeling her motorbike from the Syndicate building garage. She swung her leg over the bike, jammed her helmet on and speed off down the street. It was a fifteen-minute ride to her destination, as well as her target, Samuel Wright.
