Friends are forever. Even during a time as tough as adolescence, it’s always good to have the people by your side that stands by with you. Whether you need help fighting through the good or the bad life may throw at you, those friends will always be there. Though, when times do arise where you witness a falling out, no amount of negativity can stop you all from making up during the round table. A couple of minutes with a little bit of Lohan or MJ can solve even the largest of problems, can’t they? I mean, think of it this way, there’s only matter of time before your time as a teenager will be over so you might as well live it up while you still have the time. Who cares if you get arrested, skip class to do a little E, or if you sleep with that one girl’s boyfriend? Well, probably your parents will care but don’t worry about them for now.. they’re old. They had their chance to live it up. Now, it’s your time. Show the world what you're made of.

Hey everyone, so Aubrey here with my attempt at a Skins RPG. I know that this is out of some of you all’s comfort zones, but I assure all of you who are willing to give this a shot that I intend to make this worth your while. This RPG is based off of the British teen drama, “Skins” but I want to kind of only use the show as an inspiration and make this thing my own in a way. Below, I provided some trailers of both the UK [the original] and the US one [coming in 2011]. They offer an off form of visual of what exactly it is I want to capture during the course of this story.

Alright, what’d you think? Hopefully you’re still interested, but if you’re not thanks for giving this a look through! I appreciate it.

So continuing on, I want to explain key factors of this RPG that will separate it from its predecessors.

From the looks of things, this is just a normal teenage, high school, pretty people with problems [drugs, sex, eating disorders] rp, correct? Well, while I want those to be aspects of the story I want to diverge from the misconception that teenage based rpgs can be well written and have as much substance and depth as any other rpg on this website. The biggest factor I personally feel is my favorite part of this is the fact that everyone will take on each other’s characters with actions and dialog. I know some of you are probably feeling a little bit unsure right now, aren’t you? I want to assure you though that this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It probably might make some people uncomfortable but there’s a good reasoning behind this. I want the rpg to flow gracefully from post to post. When you normally post, you are writing mostly for your character only. In Skins, while your character’s thoughts and plot will always be your main concern, the actions and dialog of others will not be something that stops you from writing the perfect scene. It’s the job of us all to provide the thoughts for our own individual character though.

Another thing I want to touch on is that this rpg will be written in episodic formatting that will chronicle the ups and down of each character. I will specifically write episodes that focus on particular characters that will go in effect officially after the first episode [which will actually be about everyone as a group]. While I will be coming up with most of the plot, I expect some of you all to come up with ideas for your character as well. What I’m going to make sure I do is periodically check with you all to see if you have ideas by PM’ing you through a WEEMail or PC’ing you in the chatbox. That way, there’s an equal amount of creator/writer balance going on. There are a few details about the plot I will keep secret until things come out, but I want to make sure we are all on the same page as much as possible!

That's the bio skeleton, which is both simple and straight to the point. One additional feature I want you all to include though with the bio is a small [at least a paragraph] POV through the eyes of your character written in first person. You can write anything that would be going through their minds: what they think people think of them, their day, anything you so like. This part of the bio is just there to give all the other writers a feel of who your character is.

This is the end of the first post, detailing Skins. Up next will be a special post and after that I should hopefully be able to post my own bios.

Episode Directory

This post is the episode directory. It will serve as the way of informing you all of where you can find the episodes while in the story. That way, you won't have to sift through page after page to find what you're looking for. Because this is in the beginning stages, I don't have much to fill out in this page. I will let you all know now that included in this post will be the episode number, who is the starring character [which is what all the titles will be named after], which page you can find the start on, and a short synopsis of what the episode is about.

I'm not perfect, so there are going to be times where I slip up and forget to edit this page or do something wrong. If I do, let me know!

There will be nine episodes in total, which will be counted as one season. If we make it past the first season without being canceled, which is my ultimate goal, I will hope that we can go on for further seasons to come.

Below are both the episodes in order and the first episode's synopsis.

That's the final list and I'm not changing it what-so-ever. Only in a dire situation where you're hospitalized and not able to write is when I would maybe think about skipping over an episode. But we're not going to think about that now because we have much happier things to talk about.

Here's a synopsis of the first episode:

Episode 101 – “Everyone” [-link to page 1 goes here-]

After a long night of living it up, things soon turn for the worst for Nate and his friends when they find themselves under police custody. Attempting to save face to his parents the next morning, Nate recaps the series of unfortunate events from the very beginning to seemingly deaf ears. His parent’s refuse to hear him out, but he isn’t going to let that stop him. Meanwhile, all the friends are just trying to get over the awkwardness from spending time in jail. One friend's way of getting over things though isn't going to keep everyone happy.

[In this episode, you meet all seven friends. Things will start through narration told from the perspective of Nate, who will be explaining to his parent’s that he’d done nothing wrong but ended up in jail for association and not because of his behavior the night before. This entire episode, except the parts narrated by Nate will be flashed back from the day before]

Name: Collin Ashton
Nickname: Cole



Appearance: Cole stands at around 6’2, which makes him tower over almost everyone he meets. His light brown hair is of middle length, the style shaggy and rough with bangs hanging into his grey eyes. Despite his thinnish face and pale skin, Cole has never been described as unattractive. Cole’s height is made up of fine-boned limbs, with thin-fingered delicate hands and long legs. A 8-point star is tattooed between his shoulder-blades.

Clothing Style: Despite his withdrawn personality, Cole puts effort into his wardrobe, often sporting a look that is up to date, but toned down. He likes waistcoats with large pockets for storing pens and pencils, as well as clothes that are quite dark so not to show paint stains. He doesn’t mind his clothes getting dirty from his craft, which only further shows that art comes before his appearance.

Personality in 3 Words: Artistic, Quiet, Forgettable

Interests: As mentioned above, Cole is big into art. He himself is an accomplished artist, dedicating at least two hours a day to creating some form of drawing. He has no specific style, but he doesn’t find it a problem; he draws what he feels. Cole’s preferred medium is a brick wall, and has graffitied at least half of the buildings in Oakdale.

Dislikes: Overbearing people. Cole isn’t a antisocial person; he is more than happy to go parties with his friends, do the whole teenager thing etc. What he doesn’t like are people who are just so over the top it’s impossible for him to find any common ground with them. Let him come to you. Chase this young man he will run from you all the faster.

Brief History: Cole has lived in Oakdale all his life with his mother and little sister, Alice. Their father died when Cole was five years old and Alice was a few months old, and their mother was forced to raise them by herself. Despite this, she raised her two babies well, and Cole became a upstanding member of the community. Even though his dreams aren’t all that big, Cole still manages to keep his grades just above average despite the stuff he gets up to with his friends (namely his best friend, Nate). He’s a teenager; though he believes himself to be invincible, he knows his teenage years are numbered and Cole’s determined to live them to the fullest.

It's cool when you get a system going where you can grab something without even having to look. A zone, if you like. Like now, without looking away from the wall I was tagging, I reached to my left and picked up the spray-can I needed in the exact shade of blue I wanted.

Smiling behind the scarf I had covering my mouth and nose, I continued to paint, the rock music blaring in my headphones drowning out the sound of passing traffic in downtown Oakvale. Come on, every town's got one.

Satisfied with the peice, I grabbed a can of canary yellow and signed the wall; A curling 'C' with an eight-point star in the bow of the letter. Pulling my scarf down, I gathered up my materials and snuck away quickly, taking the quiet roads instead of the main ones. The last thing I needed was someone to see my paint-stained jeans and hoody.

I liked this one.... A bird flying from an open cage.

Fitting, really.

[Wendy Ann Beckett-Jolina]

Name: Britney Adelle Loftin (Often nicknamed, Brit, Bee, or 'That bitch.')

Appearance:

Britney has a very refined, elegant appearance that matches her personality quite well. Her sandy colored, sun bleached hair has a slight wave to it, feathered to her midback and kept neat and well-brushed. Her beige complexion is contrasted with her surprisingly light green eyes that seem almost translucent in their clearness. From a mix of an active childhood and being far too clumsy for her own good, the naturally straight nose that she was endowed with looks slightly fake from the nose job she received to fix the humongous bump on it that multiple broken noses brought her. The heart shaped face that she normally gives a good coat of makeup is naturally well contoured and angular, although Brit doesn't really see it. A small, dark mole decorates the bottom left corner of her slightly pouty lips, which are always curved in a small, self-adoring smile as she stares in the mirror at herself.
Britney is thin, yet slightly toned with muscle, standing at 5'4" and with only some curves. Her tummy is flat, and has the slight ripple of abs along it from multiple hours of working out to get the best body she could and years of cheerleading. A long, swanlike neck attaches her head to her narrow shoulders. She really is gorgeous, and many wouldn’t even notice her mental state due to the ubiquity of her outer shell.
Brit isn't really one for body manipulation. She only has a few piercings, all in the general area of her ears except for a navel piercing she got when she was really drunk once and actually ended up liking. She has no ink whatsoever, and doesn't plan on getting any at all. Few scars cover her body, for she's quite careful about hurting herself, or as she'd say it, "ruining the merchandise"~


Clothing Style: Brittney's style is rather dramatic and sometimes considered a bit risque, depending on who's commenting on it. She likes to show off the little cleavage she has, and often gets demerits for breaking the dress code at school. It's not common to see her in anything below the knee, even if it's freezing outside. Nevertheless, her clothing choices are rather forward and ahead of the trends, only because she enjoys being the center of attention. Her main feature to accentuate with makeup is always her eyes first, and she therefore uses a lot of eyeliner and mascara, and besides that, the only thing she really uses is lipcolor. Being a bit of a jewelry junkie, Brit is always wearing some of the stuff, even when doing the most impractical things for it.

Personality in 3 Words: Self-Obsessed, Romanticized, and yet kind (to those she likes, at least)



Interests: Britney enjoys being complimented and adored, which is quite a commonplace thing to hear of around her. Boys are another thing that she enjoys. She often explains that she can't help how much she likes them, it's just natural that she likes them and that they just love on her as much as possible. Even so, she's unafraid to chase after a guy that she likes enough, and won't stop until she gets what she wants. One of those things about being stubborn as a mule, y'know? Pretty clothing and such goes quite well with her, as well as shiny things. Cheerleading is Britney’s life, as she’s been doing it since she was three and is already the captain. But most of all, Brit's main interest is merely herself.





Dislikes: The spotlight is something that Britney thrives in, and anyone that tries to steal it from her is definitely off of her like list. Definitely expect some sort of dramatic getback scheme if you do. Anybody even remotely as pretty as she views herself is practically a walking target, and is liable to have hate arrows thrown at. Wallflowers and party poopers are a pet peeve of Brit’s, mostly because she believes that they ruin her good time. And then there’s old people... *shiver* She doesn’t know why, but they majorly creep her out...



Brief History: Britney was always alone. That's probably the biggest factor contributing to the person she is today. Both of her parents were quite wealthy, giving the girl everything she wanted when she wanted it. And yet, they were always at fancy galas and exotic trips, leaving the girl on her own and figuring that the gifts were enough to make up for the lack of support. Unfortunately, having nobody to cheer her on at her cheer competitions or congratulate her when she did something good did not fare well for the poor girl. Britney learned that the only person that she could depend on was herself, and should be the only thing she should hold in high esteem unless she could find someone that loves her as much as she loves herself. Call it Histrionic Personality Disorder, just as all of her doctors call it, but she calls it common sense.
As she started High School, Britney started it with a bang. She brought herself up in the popularity ranks quickly, and soon she was one of the most loved girls in school. And yet, seeing all those pretty girls that everybody else adored made her angry. So she sabotaged them. Every last one of them. And now, she’s on her throne at the top of the mountain, and still nobody has been able to talk her down off it. One thing that she’s sweet on and one of the only things that she seems to keep coming back to is Nate. She doesn’t know why, but he seems to have this strange hold on her that she can’t seem to walk away from... They’ve known each other since middle school, and have always been pretty good friends, and yet once the partying started... a whole new chapter started with them. One of drinking and drugs and sex... And possibly something more than friends...?

Life, I have decided, is way too stressful when you’re pretty. Those fat, disgusting... well, I can’t even tell if they are girls at all... they don’t get nearly the amount of attention that girls as amazing as me (which is obviously impossible, if you haven’t noticed) get. I mean, there’s the friends who are all hoping to get some sort of pretty virus by rubbing themselves all over you. Literally, one of them tried to get a lock of hair from me yesterday... Creepy much? And then there’s the guys... and trust me, there’s definitely more than one in my case. Seriously, I have three dates lined up for tonight, and getting somebody to get that schedule all set up for you... Stressful.
But then there’s that whole holding up the reputation thing. Makeup, hair, clothes.... Not to mention the money it takes to hire people to put it all on me... And they’re selfish enough to ask for a raise? Heh, I say they should be happy to have the luxury of being near me! Plus, my stupid brother is enough to bring down my popularity without even speaking to him on a public basis... And yet with all my hard work, I’m still on top.
Just shows how only some people have been chosen to be successful even in stressful times, no?

Nate

Name: Nathaniel Sebastian Graham.
Nicknames: Nate.

Appearance: Being the definition of the classic type of handsome, Nate is someone who capitalizes on his good looks day in and out. Quite reminiscent of rebellious James Dean-esque type men of the 50’s, Nate is beautiful in the aspect that he doesn’t have to do much in order to get the girls to swoon. Although he’s still quite young and not fully grown to his full potential looks wise, for right now he has a semi-rugged beauty that not that you don’t find with a lot of guys now a days. He’s one of the most distinguished young men you will meet. He stands at a normal height of six feet even with a slender body frame that has a smidge bit of muscle across it [mostly in the arms and abdomen areas though]. He is nowhere near being buff, seeing as he doesn’t exercise as much as he could. He’s not a meathead and he’s not a twink either. There’s a fine balance between the two. Now, his peach toned skin is lightly tanned across his entire body but in some shades of light though, his complexion could easily be mistaken for porcelain pale. He however, gets enough sun where he would never have to worry about becoming a vampire. Luckily, his skin doesn’t sparkle. At least he’s sure it doesn’t. His face is very angular thanks to his defined chin with small traces of faint stubble across it. Other important features of Nate’s would be his long nose and his thinly shaped lips. His eyes are almond shaped and colored in a beautiful crayon brown hue. Strangely, Nate’s eyes are the window into his feelings. They shine during moments where he feels in peace and are rather dull when he does not. Above them are his eyebrows, which are quite thick in size. They look like little tiny caterpillars, ready to inch their ways off of his face. Continuing on to his hair, Nate prefers to have his cut at neck length in sort of an unkempt styling that soots him perfectly. His hair is cut shorter near the nape of his neck, getting much longer near the top/middle of his head. He never combs it so strands of it will stick straight up, sway to the right, and sometimes curl wherever it wants to. It is a very dark chestnut color that can be read as brown or black, either way he doesn’t care. Hair isn’t an issue with him, but neither is much of anything though.

Clothing Style: Nate doesn’t exactly have a personal style, but one could argue that as he does seem to get his style choices pretty correct whenever he dresses. He’s initially lazy picking out clothing, but the way he wears it makes it seem like it was all intentional. He’d make you believe it was anyway, no matter how much you debated with him that he knew nothing about fashion at all. He goes with a pretty basic aesthetic with classic American Sportswear, such as button downs, sweaters, slacks and the like that he jazzes up in a modern way with items like leather jackets and skinny jeans. He wears a lot of Band of Outsiders and Trovata, clothing that may not look expensive because of how simple it is when in actuality it really is. He normally is seen in mundane tones such as white, grays, and blacks but that doesn’t limit him from wearing color at all. He however, strays away from pattern usually only opting to go for strips or plaids when he feels the need to. He may not be the most forward guy fashion wise but he looks good and feels cool and to him that’s all that matters.

3 Personality Traits: Defiant, Inconsiderate, and Clever.

Interests: Girls, drinking, pranks, women, sex, hanging out with friends, trying new drugs, learning new things and going to interesting places. Nate is the type of person who thrives on interaction with other people. In more ways than one, his interests reflect his need to be around people of all types. He mostly enjoys the opposite sex or sex in general [meaning he doesn’t care who it’s with. He wants to get his rocks off] and almost always has the subject on his mind. While he can be seen as someone who is crude to his friends, Nate does love their company and wouldn’t like to spend a day without them. He’s attempting to mature, but he has a far way to go. His interests are based on how immature and naughty behavioral personality. He does however have some interests outside that aspect of his life, such as his love of film and photography. He carries a small compact digital camera around with him often as to chronicle his and his friend’s lives more easily. A picture if worth a thousand words after all. He has a big appetite and enjoys Amara’s cooking. However, he’ll eat pretty much anything.

Dislikes: Hard work, people who aren’t able to be manipulated to do his work, any authority figure who attempts to come down on him, anyone who uses him [he’s supposed to be the sly one, remember? He hates people who dupe him at his own game]. Nate is someone who would prefer to be the person in charge of his life and all those around him. He is not someone who likes to do a lot of labor and would prefer that someone else does it for him. He takes his privilege and rides with it, most definitely. He’s usually able to deceive most of the people he meets or has known, so when someone is able to come out of the woodworks and make him

Brief History: Nate has had a pretty average life to say the least. His family consists of his mother and father, both who are still together and aren’t showing any signs of breaking apart, and a younger brother [Luis, 14] who he is a big influence on. His parent’s have and will always be more harder on him, with him being the oldest they expect him to be a certain way so that he doesn’t cause Luis to follow suit. What they don’t know though is that Luis has a mind of his own and even without Nate influencing him he’d be out doing similar things as his brother with his very own friends. Nate attempts to manipulate his parents the way he does other people, but they’re far too intelligent to be played like everyone else. He stays away from home as much as he possible can, opting to stay over his best friend Cole’s place or one of his other peeps. He’s known Cole since the two boys were in grade school and although he takes advantage of the more quiet boy, Nate knows that without Cole he would be nothing. The artistic best friend of his has a way of rounding him out more. He doesn’t seem that much like an arrogant douchebag the moment Cole is around. All his friends seems to be able to bring something out of him that no other person would be able to.

"You really think I’m stupid enough to answer your little question, considering how retarded you sound asking me it? Come on now.. don’t embarrass yourself while you’re ahead, champ. I’m just going to walk off now and save you the time."

I laughed at the guy and walked off. I couldn't figure out why people were so ignorant. Almost like they weren't thinking in a way, you know? So as I strolled down the hall I saw her. She was as beautiful as Brit was, but something about her upped everything. It was then that it hit me. Her ass was bigger than Brit's. I smirked, noting all the different things I could do during the full exploration of her body. I couldn't just stand there and let her get away, so I rushed over and made my more. Like a lion, I prance on my prey quickly. There ain't no way I'm going to let some other dude have what's mine. And everything here was mine after all. I just needed to properly map out my choices.

Amara

Name: Amara Michelle Jones.
Nicknames: Mara, A.

Appearance: Amara is quite the pretty girl upon first impression. Her look is very unconventional compared to many young women in her age group, but she manages to make it work very well. A while back, Amara decided that she would shy away from the world’s perception of what makes girls beautiful. She stopped wearing dresses and lots of other things that would be classified as girl’s attire only and began to wear her brothers’ clothing for the simple fact that it made her more comfortable. She stayed away from cutesy and pretty, finding herself wanting to have more grit and toughness. From then on her tomboy side took full advantage and she never went back to her old clothes again. Something not surprising about men’s clothing is that it doesn’t show off a woman’s figure and Amara has an admirable figure underneath all her hoodies and baggy jeans. You’d be shocked just how banging her body is, but only few people even get to witness seeing it for what it’s worth. She isn’t one to go around flashing the goods like some of her girlfriends. She’s fairly short, standing at a height of five feet; five inches with chocolately brown skin that is caramelized in small dosages. Even though her skin isn’t spotless and she does manage to get blotches of acne from time to time, she understands that it’s notably important to keep your skin in good condition by taking care of it. Amara has a a very large head, being compared to a bobblehead or Bratz doll [on account of her huge lips that take up quite a good portion of her entire face] by almost everyone she knows. She has dark brown eyes, a wide nose, high cheek bones, and as mentioned before full lips. She hardly ever wears makeup besides lip gloss and blush from time to time, even opting to not wear makeup in formal situations as well. She doesn’t see the need to at all for it, so she’s disregarded it completely. Continuing on, the last part of her appearance and the most distinct of all would be Amara’s hair which she wears all over the place. It naturally kinks up in an afro type of deal, but there are times when she does press it out flat. [Most of the time though, she wears it in her lion’s mane esque style]

Clothing Style: “Wait, that’s not a boy, right? Ohh! That’s a girl!” is usually something Amara hears a lot from people commenting on her clothing choices. She has the style of a boy, choosing to wear different pieces of urban wear from the men’s section of the department stores. Her pants and hoodies are baggy, with the only exception being she usually wears a fitted t-shirt underneath. She never wears dresses, skirts, or hot shorts because they are usually associated with girl’s who are loose and Amara is not that type at all. She has quite the shoe collection as well, wearing tons of Nike and Jordan’s. Her accessories usually consist of chains and her signature gold bangle earrings. Her hats are fitted and almost always have a sports team logo on them. She isn’t that flashy of a girl… at least compared to other girls, but she does make sure she looks good. Her grandmother despises her style and her brothers hate her for taking their clothes when she feels like it, but she loves it and at the end of the day it’s all that matters. Better for her to wear this than to not wear anything at all, right?

3 Personality Traits: Aggressive, Nurturing, and Knowledgeable.

Interests: Sports, making friends, partying, smoking weed, shoes, Rap music, and writing. She is a great cook and is able to prepare many gourmet dishes without knowing the full recipes for them. Amara sees cooking as a way to get to know people more. Seeing their eating habits and what they like gives her information on what type of person they are and what they appreciate. Not many people know it, but she’s volunteered with the girl’s scouts for over eight years. She likes helping people out. She is a type of person who likes to learn new things that she can adapt into her normal life.

Dislikes: Frills, ruffles, dresses, makeovers, over confident people or people who feel the need to be in the spotlight all the time, liars, and being dissed. It’s not surprising to learn about a lot of her dislikes. She is someone who doesn’t hide her discomforts. She can’t hide them well to save her life, but she is able to tolerate her dislikes for a certain price or person.

Brief Information: Amara has been under the care of her grandmother for almost all her entire life. She’d never met her father at least to her understanding she hasn’t, he ran out on his family during her mother’s pregnancy. Amara’s mom suffered greatly from having to raise all three of her children as a single mother, so she went to her on mother for guidance. She would leave Amara and her two older brothers with their grandmother while she would go out looking for work during the day. One day however, Amara’s mom had enough. She couldn’t take it anymore and decided to rob a convenience store on impluse. She needed the money bad and there was just no stopping her. She shot the clerk, killing him along with a few of the bystanders in the store. She attempted to run but was soon caught by authorities. She plead guilty and received life in prison.
From then on out, Amara’s grandmother became the caretaker of her brother’s and her. Gran [as Amara refers to her grandma], is an old school type of woman who ruled with an iron fist with a leather belt by her side. Amara appreciates her grandmother, but she feels that the woman doesn’t get her at all. She feels that her views are too ancient in time. The two but heads a lot, but only out of pure love. Speaking of butting heads, Amara’s relationship with her brothers is ..rocky to say the least. They’re both grown men [one 20, while the other is 23] who still haven’t moved out or even bothered to get a decent paying job to help keep up with the rent like they should. She constantly finds herself having to go off on them and because she’s been around them all her life she had to learn how to fight back. Not many girls would be able to say the same thing. Amara isn’t any girl though.

So I needed to know why this girl in biology kept giving me the side eye like I did something to her. It was eating me up and I needed to say something then and there, you know? I mean, all I asked for was a damn pencil! I didn’t ask for the answers to her homework, some money for a sack, nothing serious. Just a- fucking- pencil. Nate told me that it was just because of her face and nothing serious, but there was no way it was just her face. She was acting like she had a personal problem with me and that was not gone fly. See, now that’s why I stopped being around girls like that. All of them are too catty and I didn’t have time for that. I stood up out of my seat and walked over to her when the bell for class rang.
“What do you want?” she asked me all stuck up as I folded my arms across my chest and just stared at her. Name: Maylin
Clothing Style: Maylin dresses a little weird sometimes and can only hope its seen as trendy. She ties long metal beads into her hair, her ears are pierced all the way up with various bits of dangling jewelry that threaten to get caught on anything and everything, and she wears an assortment of necklaces and bracelets all heaped together, long and short, adorned with crystals and runes and metal chunks and thick charms. The more she realizes that these things are seen as exceedingly weird at her new school, however, the more she favors skinny jeans and artsy t-shirts. The only thing she can’t ever seem to work herself up to wearing are tall heels. Falling over and crippled feet aren’t her idea of a good time.

3 Personality Traits: Impulsive, Easily Manipulated, and Kind-Hearted

Interests: Despite the party life she’s let herself be thrown into her, her hobbies aren’t all about getting shit-faced and waking up with a hot stranger in the morning. At home, she’s all about her peace and quiet. She wakes up early in the morning when the weather is cool and the sun is just coming up, making the sky all pink and soft-looking. She helps her family care for their garden, which takes up their entire fenced-in back yard. That’s where she spends most of her day, writing and reading beneath the shade of cornstalks and sunflowers. She likes painting and sewing, but is terrible at the former and constantly gives up, though that doesn’t make her enjoy it any less. Her dream would be to create her own hand-made fashion store, or perhaps a little tea shop, though she knows she’ll never have the money for either. She loves anything that has to do with the occult and has a ghost story for any occasion, but she’ll never tell anyone that.

Dislikes: She really, really hates people who are unkind, but that doesn’t stop her from doing everything those people say if they are popular. Anyone who bashes gays or races, uses people, is wasteful, drives a Hummer, argues about things they don’t understand, or hits an animal on the side of the road and doesn’t stop to help is surely the devil in her eyes. She hates that her entire family is so weird, with all their protesting and…hippy-ness. She hates how poor they are. She loves everyone in her family but hates that it’s so big that it keeps her from ever being noticed. That’s it. She hates never being noticed. She hates that there isn’t anything that makes her special, unique. There isn’t anything she does better than someone else. She hates being a nobody.

Brief History: Maylin grew up as the middle child. Now, that wouldn’t be such a big deal if she didn’t have five brothers and three sisters. Yeah, being the middle of nine children means you don’t exactly grow up with a whole lot of attention and coddling. Mind you, every single one of them was adopted, including Maylin herself, so at least she doesn’t have to be embarrassed about her mother popping out so many children. You see, her parents are the always-do-good hippy types. They are vegetarians, they protest for human and animal rights, they grow a lot of their own food, they leave all lights off during the day, they only own one tv and computer, they have strange political views, they do all sorts of things that a teenager just doesn’t want to have to deal with. They also donate most of their money and don’t believe in owning a lot of stuff, so Maylin got a job and started saving up to buy normal clothes to fit in. At her old school, Maylin didn’t have many friends, save for an odd bunch of kids that always got picked on. A few months ago she moved, and now she’d hoping to leave a mark on this new school. She wants to be somebody, even if that somebody isn’t herself.

Name: Christian Jackson Loftin (People often tease him for being so innocent, often calling him ‘Jesus Christ-ian’ as a relation to that. He hates being called that, though.)
Appearance:

Although Christian is Britney’s twin, they’re far from similar. The guy really doesn’t know how to take care of himself, his skin not as clear as his sisters, hair not as well kept, clothes not as nice... Basically, he’s just a washed out, pitiful version of her. His beige skin has acne scars from his past terrible skin, the same mole that tastefully decorates Brit’s lower lip only adding a superfluous blemish to his face. His thick, blonde hair seems wiry and rarely brushed, always slightly hanging in his eyes and impairing his vision. His eyes are the same clear jade shade as Brit’s, although they seem much more disinterested, his lashes just as long as hers. His nose has an awkward bump at the tip, just some sort of deformity that doesn’t really bother him much. His lips are thinner, always pressed into a tight, nervous line.
Thin as a stick, his body mass is disproportional to his monstrous height of 6’1”, and always seems to be referred to as the Hulk on a megadiet. His limbs are long and thin, as well.
Christian is a major wimp, and has no tattoos or piercings whatsoever. He doesn’t really mind it that much, as he wouldn’t really have an idea as to what to have done even if he wanted something. Overall, he’d just look even more awkward with them.

Clothing Style: Pinstripes and collared shirts are probably the only thing in Christian’s wardrobe. That and a nice pair of slacks and maybe a pair of jeans... that’s pretty much the common daily attire for Christian. He’s not one for dressing up, but doesn’t really want to look like he doesn’t take care of himself.And yet, his sister still calls him a slob, probably because he doesn’t wear sequins and high heels and eyeliner like she does... Nothing you can really do to try to impress the queen of self-absorbtion, no?

3 Personality Traits: Intelligent, Uptight, and Innocent.

Interests: Christian is a big fan of electronics and his music. He’s practically never seen without his mac, ipod, phone, or guitar. He’s actually gotten quite the knack for writing music, and is trying to get a band together. Not that he really knows anybody else that can do anything really musical... but constant vigilance is his middle name! Christian could seriously be his own tiny, personal Geek Squad. Any sort of electronic difficulties, you’d better bet that he could fix it. Within ten minutes, tops.

Dislikes: Christian can’t stand large groups of people. Like, seriously, the only reason he hangs out with the rest of the group is the fact that his sister forces him to. That’s another thing he dislikes... Britney. Well, dislike would be the wrong word. He absolutely loves his twin... He’s just very scared of her. Of course, it’s a bit odd that a teenage boy would be scared of his twin sister, but he’s not really worried about what it would do, as he pretty much has no reputation to uphold anyways. Nevertheless, he’s pretty protective of her, and can’t stand guys that use her... Like a certain guy in the group to whom he scowls at even the smallest mention of.
Brief History: Christian had always been his parent’s pride and joy, the preferred twin. He worked hard at school, making top marks in his classes and working his way into a renowned boarding school. He was blissfully cut off from the outside world for many years, not realizing the increase of absence with his parents and his sister’s deteriorating mental health. It wasn’t until he left the boarding school by graduating and being forced into public high school with his sister that he realized just how bad it was. He was shocked at how much she’d changed, even more so when she turned on him like she did. He pretty much had to go everywhere with her in case she did something overly rash that she’d regret later, and was soon taken in by the drugs and partying, even if he didn’t particularly like it. Besides, isn’t that what siblings do? Sacrifice their wants for the bettering of the other?
That’s what he’d like to tell himself, at least.

It was late by the time I reached the house that I hadn’t been in in years, even though my sister had been stuck here without me for years. She’d always been so clingy with me, almost dependent, and a part of me worried that she hadn’t been able to handle it all. I used to get letters from her often, but they slowly seemed to diminish to nothing. I wondered what had happened...

Stepping in, I immediately noticed Britney. She was just as beautiful as always, although there was a more mature quality to her looks, and she was definitely dressed in a way that might have been just a little too mature. The odd thing was, she was standing in front of the mirror, just staring. Nothing else. She seemed pretty satisfied with herself, brushing away a loose hair or fixing a smudge of makeup. Finally she noticed me standing in the doorway, and she turned around, a small frown of disapproval on her lips as she raised an eyebrow at me.

“I, uh... I’m home.” I smiled to her reassuringly, but her frown only grew.

“You look like a hot mess.” Her voice sounded much prissier than I remembered it, and there was a meaner quality to her that I was unused to. “I mean, it looks like you need to be properly introduced to a comb, and maybe a better wardrobe? God, even with a dork like you, it should be at least somewhat of an easy job to look ok.” I was used to Brit calling me names like that jokingly, but there was something serious in her expression that told me that there was nothing to joke about.

Easily turning her back on me, my twin walked away, and it was then that I realized something. More than just appearances had changed.

Name- Elias Delgado

Appearance:

Elias’s hair is always different. Not because he’s constantly cutting it and making different hairstyles, but because he decides to have a messy look. He showers; blow dries it with a towel a little and goes. It’s a nice chocolate brown with a light wavy to it when it's longer; he usually keeps it short. His eyes so dark they're almost black, filled with various emotions at all times, framed in dark lashes outlined by semi-thick eyebrows. He has a long face with a short nose and a defined jaw line, along with a scar that resides on the side of his forehead from an incident with ‘the monster’. He has a nice golden complexion, (Filipino). He has a charming smile surrounded by nice, thin, smooth lips. His smile may not be perfectly straight and white, but it his a charming one, when he actually uses it. He stands to be at about 5'10 with a lean muscular body. He has nice arms and a nice stomach along with beautiful hands, and protruding hips. He has a Gauge in one ear and a tattoo on his shoulders that says “Vendetta”. He has an arrogant aurora about him, always walking with his shoulders up and back and certain sway to him, that makes him appear to be graceful and intimidating at the same time. He doesn’t have a hairy chest or back like his dad yet, he thinks it’s disgusting. So he is pretty happy about the fact that he just hasn’t seemed to have any occur. He has a birth mark on his hip bone; it’s similar to a heart.

Clothing Style: like his hair, his clothing is always changing. Usually he’ll sport dark jeans with a t-shirt. He rarely ever dresses up. His favorite stores to shop at are Hollister, Hottopic, Pacsun, and Journeys. He wears Vanz and Nike’s all the time. His signature look is a pair of dark, distressed jeans with a plain white t-shirt, that’s slight tight to show off his defined chest and stomach, with a any type of shoe. He will sometimes even throw in guy v-necks just for shits and giggles, and well, because he likes them.

He enjoys sinning, in every way possible and enjoys breaking all the rules. He loves riding his bike everywhere he goes. He likes to play basketball. He also has an interest in being an asshole to people who deserve it. Atheism.

Dislikes: It’s more like, what doesn’t he like? He hates his father, his mother,along with most of humanity;including himself. He hates the kids that get everything handed to them. School, even though he’s really smart. He hates children and animals, he hates watching movies. He doesn’t like when people SHHH him. He hates tomatoes, ( but loves ketchup) Dislikes that he bites his nails.

Brief History:

“You worthless piece of shit; why do you have to be such a little pussy, ass, bastard?” The monster slurred to me. His eyes were hazy; occupied of nothing but pure evil.He left her lying in the corner of the kitchen, laying in fetal position, sobbing madly. He had beaten my mother, nearly to death. Kicking, hitting, shaking, and throwing her, I watched as she tried to intake air, as she tried to reach out to me, begging me to run, but I was frozen in place. The monster stepped towards me, closer to me, kneeling down in my face.
“Daddy, what did you do to mommy?”
“Shut up! The bitch deserved it!”
“But, daddy, she’s crying, you have to help her!” Followed after my words, I was implanted into a wall, my body emerging with pain. I could feel a warm, moist feeling slithering from my nose, on to my lips as salty tears escaped my eyes. My eyes fluttered up to him, unsure of what was going on. I didn’t know. I just didn’t know that from that night on, my life would never be normal. I was six years old, and my world had already been flipped upside down and turned.
For years following, the same things happened night after night. The monster would come home drunk, beating me and my mom , playing games of Russian Roulette with us, Locking us in closets, treating us like slaves. No one ever seemed to notice though, no one seemed to care. Teachers would look, they would stare; at my bruises and cuts, but never would they do anything further than that. Other parents would look at us as if we were trash, as if we deserved what we were getting. But, no one, once ever said anything. We couldn’t even say a word, for if we did, apparently we would end up dead on high way 64.
The day I turned sixteen, was the day my mom left. She left a letter, telling me it’ll be okay, that maybe if she left everything would be fine, that she would always love me. But, she was wrong, things just became worse, she didn’t love me, neither did my father. But, who cares, I’d become strong by then, I had other things that I could depend on; between the drugs, alcohol, sex and cigarettes, my life was better. I had learned how to overcome my pain, I could numb the pain, ease the stress and have a good time, forgetting everything.
Right now, I don’t know where my life is going. Right now, I could really give a flying fuck on what’s going on. Right now, there’s nothing in this world for me; no reason to keep moving on.

Alright everyone, so we're winding down the the launch of this RPG and I wanted to take the time out to inform all of you who joined [or just looked at this thread] that I am so pleased with the turn out. I am quite surprised that this was well received by people. Never in my wildest dreams would I had thought that I'd get more than one bio. Name: Jennifer Beth 'Jamie' Waters.
Appearance:
Jamie likes to style her hair in cute ways, such as pigtails and pony tails. She keeps her hair short, because when it gets long there are way too many split ends and really it's just not worth it.
Jamie is not a petite wallflower. She has a shape, and that shape is not and never has been subject to change. Sure, when she was younger she wanted to lose weight, but now Jamie knows her body and doesn't consider herself fat. She still exercises regularly and is fairly athletic, and is probably a good bit healthier than many thin girls.
Jamie has a broad face and is generally thought of, among others, as attractive. She's not especially beautiful, but is above average. Jamie doesn't wear much make up besides eye liner and lip gloss, although she does invest heavily in creams and lotions for skin care.
Clothing Style: Jamie keeps it simple. She wears blue jeans, well-fitted but not skinny, and shorts when it's warmer. Compared to most girls, Jamie is conservative in terms of showing skin, but she's not afraid to show a bit of cleavage or leg now and then, as long as it's seasonal. Jamie's favorite colors are blue and pink, and you'll rarely see her not wearing at least one article of clothing with one of these colors.
Jamie adores jewelry, and often wears so much that it's considered somewhat tacky, but she doesn't care. Not all of it's real, of course, but that's not the point.

Interests: Jamie loves sports. Watching, playing, or even just reading about sports. She's a deep-fried Southern girl, and you can't take the tomboy out of her with the Jaws of Life. Beyond sports, Jamie is a history and political buff. She watches the news constantly, and has very strong opinions on most issues.

Name: Bedford Arthur McKlennan VI
Nicknames: Ford

Appearance:

Upon first view, the most noticeable of Ford’s physical traits is his mixed heritage: his skin is of the olive complexion of his mother’s mixed with the fair, European shade of his father, though lightly splotched and blemished from the mild acne that his body just phased out of. His dark, short wavy hair is a deep brown and is constantly styled up messily and unkempt, with scraggly sideburns that snake down to the top of his jaw. On either side of Ford’s forward set nose are two golden brown eyes of a fairly standard shade, overshadowed by a moderately broad brow and forehead. Under these eyes are heavy bags, one of the only visible signs of his drug use that he doesn’t bother with covering up.
Ford’s body is nothing if not skinny for his height of 5’9”. He is constantly losing weight –one of the upsides to heavy drug use- but due to his penchant for greasy junk food, Ford doesn’t often find himself in danger of becoming underweight, although he rides the line quite close. And though he is thin, he isn’t athletic or muscular, and if he weren’t in the habit of walking to and from school each and every day or if he hadn’t been so lazy as to not sign up for a locker –leaving him to carry a slew of textbooks every day-, wouldn’t be much to look at.

Clothing Style: You know that shirt in the corner of the closet? Yeah, that one. The white one you wear around the house when no one’s looking? Oh, and that pair of jeans you tore up and got paint all over that one time when you were repainting your bedroom? That’s basically Ford’s outfit every day, thrown together with the occasional jacked or vest that he finds balled up in a corner somewhere. And although these are what he appears to wear, upon close inspection, one can note that every piece of clothing he wears are abused and unlaundered designer clothes.

3 Personality Traits: Apathetic, Chill, Pessimistic

Interests: Anything that sounds good at any particular moment. Ford is susceptible to momentary whims and flights of fancy at practically any time, though these occur most often after he's gone off on some kind of trip or is currently under the influence. To date, he's taken up multiple hobbies for incrementally shorter periods of time, though Ford has never abandoned his constant staples of drugs, alcohol, sleep, money, and the occasional girl. He has an odd fondness for Britney, although he often finds her whining and bitching to be unbearable, and can see clearly when she's busy manipulating him (though, he has been known to ignore this in lieu of conversation or cold, hard cash). Ford also enjoys practical jokes and goofing off in general. Although he's decidedly indifferent about most of his life, he always makes time for a good 'gotcha' moment, preparing every aspect to the letter.

Dislikes: Melodramatics and unneeded stress are Ford's primary peeves, but it isn't like he cares enough to say more than just a passing comment. Anyone or anything that disrupts his life or fun are just asking for a mild comment of their "uncoolness". And though Ford is fairly tame when it comes to this line of melodrama or interruption, he spares no prisoners when he doesn't get paid or misses his cut and has been to prison once already for assaulting a kid who refused to pay him on the grounds of, "that shit was so strong that [he couldn't] even remember taking it" (like that was a bad thing).

Brief History: Ford was a mistake. At least, that's how his father views it. Bedford McKlennan V, a highly successful entrepreneur, married Elena Vasquez, an actress and model, as a trophy wife to complete what he viewed as his goals in life. Unfortunately, although he was against having children, Elena became pregnant, and Ford's father took a instant dislike to the him while he was still in the womb, blaming Elena and treating her and the child with contempt from that moment forward. Throughout his childhood, Ford tried desperately to live up to his father's expectations, doing everything and anything to make him proud, but Bedford would not be moved and never showed his son the compassion which Ford craved. Eventually, Ford grew despondent and impersonal towards not only his father, but also his mother as he entered middle school, using his fathers money to turn to drugs under the urging of his peers. Though, this was less than fulfilling and soon Ford began dealing, weaning off of his father's paycheck. This sense of independence, caused Ford to deny his father's offer of a car (brought about by the urging of his mother), choosing to walk the mile and a half to school each and every day. At school, Ford transcends all cliques and clubs, befriending every student who has a need for his "services", and due to his skewed upbringing and sense of companionship, judges his level of friendship with others by the amount they confide in him and the amount and frequency that they purchase "products" from him.


A cloud of smoke drifted above Ford's head as he laid on his back in silence. Above, the sky had turned violet and amber with the setting sun. Through the cloud of smoke around him, he caught a glimpse of a flock of birds elegantly swirling on the breeze in a waving pattern. The cool air sweeping around him felt so crisp... So there. Everything was there.

This was the life. This was his life. Every Friday after school, but before the parties had begun, Ford snuck up onto the roof for some quality time. Before the bitches started bitching and the douches started yelling, he rolled up a joint of the best shit of the week and let everything just be and be significant before it all got blocked out.

Another hit on his joint and Ford's thoughts turned to Britney. Again.

She whined and bitched when she didn't get her way, but Ford had a thing for the girl. She was the best looking chick at the school and one of his best customers. If she could only quit her complaining, he was sure she'd be great all around, if not the best thing about this damn educational prison.

'Pfft... Yeah, right.'

Another hit, another puff of smoke.

'Not that she'd stop bitching or ditch Nate, anyway.'

And that was another thing. Nate was a cool enough dude, if not a little on the annoying arrogant side of things. He always wanted new products, causing Ford to go through some crazy hoops to get new stuff for him. Sometimes it didn't seem like Nate cared about anything, something to which Ford could relate, but that mantra also included Britney. Through the haze of smoke in his brain, Ford felt a small tinge of anger building over a memory of his mother and how his father had treated her.

Whatever. Not like it mattered.

Unceremoniously, Ford hopped to his feet, finishing the last of smoke, and letting it drop to the ground as he sauntered over to the roof access. Maybe next Friday would be a bit more peaceful. Maybe some Jack Herer would help. White Widow only got him so far.

Salome

Name: Salome Lourdes Yorke.
Nicknames: Sal, Sally, Salomi.

Appearance: Naturally graced with wonderful features, Salome has always been the girl people looked at as being pretty in a round the world sense of the word. Her looks dazzle; which is to be expected from a girl of her caliber seeing that she is the daughter of famed actor Gregory Yorke after all. She stands at five feet; three inches with a rather twiggy figure. A body as petite and slender as her is can only be gained either congenitally or through unhealthy alternatives such as eating disorders. No one really knows what Sal does to maintain her lanky figure, but she’s definitely been encouraged to eat a cheeseburger or two in the past couple of months. Her skin is a milky cream complexion that is a step up between being pale and tan. She manages to keep such a tone from frequently sunbathing, a task that is quite difficult to pull off without being noticed by someone. So moving on to her face, she very subtle features that aren’t too different from many other pretty girls. Two features that people happen to comment on are her big, doe-like eyes [which are dark brown by the way] and her eyebrows, which are thick but tamed with style. Not many people are able to pull off such a look, especially girls around her age who are young, but she manages to make it look fierce and effortless. And speaking of things that take practically no effort at all, Salome’s hair is something that looks like it takes countless numbers of salon stylists to spiff up. Well, maybe she does have access to those countless numbers of stylists, but even for when she doesn’t need them her hair is able to be tamable. Her hair is a nice milk chocolate with slight golden undertones placed in spots throughout it.

Clothing Style: Salome is a girl of high elegance, which in itself is pretty self explanatory. She of course wears designer threads, but all of it happens to be imported from the finest boutiques in Paris, Milan, and other fashion capitols of the world. She's a fashionista at heart but despite shopping exclusive name brands, she isn’t tied down to a specific style of clothing.

Interests: Fashion, popularity, boys, exposure, money, ect.
Dislikes: Frugal shoppers, people who defy her, seafood.
Brief Information: You can only live once. Sal isn’t going to let age stop her from getting to experience life. Her eyes are in the stars and she’s going to prove that she has what it takes to be something one day without having to use her family name. But for right now, who’s to say that using that name to get in the door is so bad? Sal is well known around town, hell the world, but she's been known to use her popularity for good. At least that's what her publicist wants you to believe. Compared to other teen queens, she is fairly nice despite what others have spoken of her. It takes a while to get to know her, but once you do you'll not only like what you'll see, you'll want to know what it'll take for you to be more like her.

Name: Candice Margret Barr. AKA: Candy Barr





Appearance: Candice is your characteristic nerd. She has long butterscotch coloured hair that would be perfect if she knew how to take care of it; tragically though, it’s usually an unruly, frizzy, dead-ended mess. Luckily, she stopped caring long ago. Candy’s best feature would have to be her baby blue eyes. But, they are shielded by thin-wired glasses that tend to make her eyes look extremely minuscule when she has them on. Her face is very round with chubby cheeks and placed directly in the center of it is a cute little button nose. She has a plump lower lip and a thin upper lip and within those lips is a decent, straight, white smile. She stands at a stature of about 5’4, tall enough just to matter, and is at a healthy, but not skinny enough for others, weight. She has “manly” shoulders as she likes to call them and “beached whale” thighs. She has a very negative outlook on her appearance and tends to put herself down a lot. But honestly, if someone could teach her how to take care of herself, she wouldn’t be that bad.

Clothing Style: Candice, is well, Candice. She doesn’t really know how to dress to be honest. She thinks it’s still okay to wear long denim skirts to school paired with a blazer with shoulder-pads (As if that was ever attractive anyways.) She also still wears her old Star Wars t-shirt from sixth grade; back when she was “obsessed, along with other graphic t-shirts that present her favorite games and old cartoons and even her anime. When Candy wears shorts they’re the knee shorts with white socks that come up to the middle of her calf. Her jeans never seem to reach past her ankles and she usually wears these huge clunker tennis shoes and sometimes even the old school “granny” Keds. She wears “Blouses” frequently, often floral like and plain like a granny and she also wears the dreadful sweater vests that only “hot guys” and “gorgeous girls” can pull off. Candice, however doesn’t seem to realize that her wardrobe is a disaster, she thinks it’s still cool and in style and thinks it suits her well, despite what her mother has tried to tell her. You could either assume; 1. She’s in fashion denial or 2. That she steals clothes from her Great Grandma Edna’s closet.

Wallflower- Candy is very shy. She doesn’t really enjoy large groups and doesn’t like being the center of attention. She often tends to be the observer of situations and takes awhile to warm up to new surroundings and people.

Intelligent- She’s a straight A honor student. She has never in her entire life received a failing grade or anything below a B for the matter. She is a math whiz and science genius. She speaks very properly and reads very frequently. She is always stuck in a book which is what one might say leads her astray from the real world. She does people’s homework often in return for pot.
Passionate and dedicated- In her words that is, in others, she’s just plain crazy and obsessive. She obsesses over anything and everything; whether it is a new Anime show or a new book coming out. She always has a band she’s obsessing over and always has something to be “madly in love with” Now, when I say obsession, I mean obsession, she dreams about whatever it is, makes her pancakes in the shape of it, draws pictures, writes stories and constantly imagines little skits inside her head. Lately though, Ford has been her newest found obsession.

Interests: She loves to write and do Sudoku. She is actively involved in the schools Anime Club, Earth club, Math Club and Astronomy Club. She enjoys going to watch the Rocky Horror Picture show. She collects stamps, seashells and snow globes. She likes organizing things, although her room is a cluttered mess of all of her past obsessions. She likes to be stage director of the schools plays and likes to plant flowers randomly though out the local neighborhood. Most people don’t know that she smokes pot, she likes to keep it a secret. She loves the cold weather and like playing in the snow. She plays piano and can sing. She likes learning new foreign language phrases.

Dislikes: Snobby people, preppy people, people who pick on her, people who don’t like Anime, people who aren’t “cultured.” She doesn’t really like rude people at all, people who are close minded. She hates the feeling of yarn. She hates animal, earth, human, and drug abusers. (She’s thinks pot is not a drug because it’s natural.) She hates when people spend their money on useless things, like expensive clothes and accessories. She believes that instead of wasting it on yourself, you should survive by the basics and help others in need.

Brief History: Candice’s family is the perfect family, minus her. She has two golden stared siblings that have already moved out and are about to graduate college. She has a beautiful mother and father who are very successful in the business world. Her family lives a little above average life, which makes Candy sick thinking of all the help they could be giving to other people. Her mother, Charlene, doesn’t really pay attention to her that often, she kind of forgets she even exists to be honest. Charlene used to be a model for a local clothing store and won multiple beauty pageants when she was younger. Candice’s mother kind of neglects her, always putting her on the back burner and usually just lets her set there. If anything, her mother just treats her like a red-headed step child. Her father, Brent, was just a typical high school jock, but her father is the one who loves her and cares about her. (Even though when he was younger, he was the complete opposite of her.) He tries to spend as much time with her as possible and if he had to choose a favorite child, it would undoubtedly be Candice. He doesn’t agree with the way Charlene treats Candice, but he ignores it most the time. Giving Candice sweet little nothings on the side to help her deal with the negativity received from her mother. Candice doesn’t get along with her siblings, possibly because they’re too old for her, or because they deem her as the ugly duckling of the family.

Her family, minus her. They (her mom) “forgot” to invite her to the photo shoot. That was a sure was a fired argument after-wards.

Name: Clyde Sihanouk

Appearance:

If one were to stare profoundly at Clyde without having seen him ever before, one could distinguish the sad, brown eyes that rest upon his face, a feature that most people seem to miss, even those who've known him for an extensive period of time. The rest of his features, however, are probably much more straightforward. He has short and shaggy dark brown hair that covers most of his ears and reaches his thick eyebrows, though the skin of his protuberant neck remains perfectly visible. His nose, thin and short, sits over his lips, which seemed to be trapped in an eternal pout. He's so serious most of the time.
Clyde's most distinguishing feature might be the small mole in the right side of his face that keeps constant vigil over his otherwise-mostly clear skin. He carries a light tan over his whole body, more due to his heritage than to sun exposure of any kind, as well as an average body weight that fills up his 5 feet, 9 inches frame. He's definitely not lanky. All in all, Clyde is an almost nondescript individual. Just looks like another guy in another school: end of story.

Clothing Style: Elegance? You must have the wrong person. Designer clothes? Try again. Formality? Maybe that Christian guy from English, not him. Clyde is one of those guys that dresses almost lazily. It's a miracle his closet hasn't toppled over from the repetitive kinds of clothes. Which has an upside, really: each and every one of his clothes goes mostly well with one another. He is one of those guys who sports the types of shirts with witty, funny or cartoonish drawings and patterns on the front, with hoodies of every color for cover and warmth. If he so feels like it, Clyde might decide to wear a T-shirt over a long-sleeved shirt. As for his bottom half, he likes cargo pants a good deal, or shorts if the weather is cooperative. And tennis shoes. Always.

3 Personality Traits: Peer pressured, trapped and uncommunicative.

Interests: Parties, journalism, trying to actually live something during his teenage years, trying to actually get into a social circle he's more comfortable with, video games, roller blading, astronomy and astrology.
Dislikes: Mathematics, feeling trapped, people who have expectations about him, people who take said expectations as actual characteristics of his, those stereotypical dumb jocks, chick flicks, granola bars.

Brief Information:
The first thing anyone should know about Clyde is that he's not who people think he is. He is not to the extent that others' perceptions about him are interfering with his living a decent, fun teenage life.
It supposedly began on 5th grade. Clyde's family moved from Laos to the States when he was in 4th, and the boy attended a special school designed to make his transition easier, smoother. A year later, in 5th, he was ready to face the United States' school system. It went fine at first. He was quickly accepted among his peers and he adapted nicely to schoolwork, seeing as how he'd already seen certain parts of the syllabus back in his hometown. Because of this, the workload was easier for him and several of his classmates learned to go to him if they needed help with homework or schoolwork. He usually didn't decline to help.
When middle school began, everything went haywire. The "All Asians are super smart" stereotype took hold of his classmates, who mostly remembered him as "That one guy who knew everything in elementary." With his father's academic record as a straight A student to boot, Clyde was pushed into becoming one of the smart students without actually being one. He tried at first, but he never got the grades everyone expected of him. Not that his classmates would care, of course. The perception of Clyde as a smart kid had already grown strong roots in his peers' minds and remained so when he entered high school. Occasional bullying ensued and this, coupled with his initial (failed) attempts at actually becoming a smart guy kinnda drove people away. Sure, he hangs out with some people and he definitely isn't an outcast, but these see him as their smart friend, the friend who spends his evening unfazed by schoolwork and exams. Between this sort of thoughts, his parents' expectations and his not-being-invited to social situations most of the time due to his reputation, Clyde does, in fact, study in the evenings, which is why he's always been a B student, but he sees it as no simple task. He's not super-smart, he just haves time to study whereas other teens have time to party and do fun stuff.
Now, in High School, he's actually seen how much his untrue reputation affects his overall enjoyment of life and what he'd actually prefer to do. Thing is, breaking out of a reputation is a hard thing to do. And it's not like he has close friends to help him through it.
More than once he has tried to talk his situation out with his older brother, attempting to develop a close bond with him, trying to count him as a close friend. But his brother deflects those attempts by being. . .well. . .like this:
