Here's Gafe, your nice Grim ReaPer of the site and manager of the Dead Thread.
As you can deduce from the title, I'm going to tell all of you how this board works.
Aright, so the most common bond that unites all of us is our appreciation for RPGs. This here is the disposal bag for all those RPs that have long since died down.
In order to not clog up the 'RPG' board or the Front Page with too many pages/RPs, those RPs that have not been posted in for two months will be moved here and locked (in case anyone would like to read an oldie).

If an RPG is moved here, I can easily move it back to the RPG page. Certain requirements, however, have to be met: A request needs to be sent to me [gafebear] via Personal Message (PM) and within the names of two other people willing to partake in the deleted RP must be specified.

Unstarted RPs (what should be posted in the RPG Stuff board) work a little different here. Unstarted RPs will be moved here with a 3 month tolerance (or special cases that I'll consider), but will not be locked. To move these back into the RPG Stuff board we'll only need the RP starter to ask either on the thread itself or via a PM to me. Conversely, RPG Stuff threads that do not pertain to a special RPG, but are oriented instead to other purposes will not be 'Dead thread-ed'.

RSGs will not be moved here but to the Dead RSG Thread contained within RSG Stuff and only in special cases (rather, when the RSG writer wants it moved there). RSG Stuff threads will not be 'Dead thread-ed'.

Hey there, everyone!
As of late we've been holding discussions and debates regarding the state of WhatEverEva and I called for a voting session. The topic was whether or not to reduce the time it takes for me to move an RP to this here Dead Thread from two months to only one.

Most votes were in favor.

Therefore, from this moment on, any RPG that has exceeded the time of thirty days since the last IC post will be locked and moved here. I would, however, like to make all of you note that the possibility of resurrecting a Dead Thread'ed RP is still available. Following the guidelines I had previously posted.

Edit (21/dec/2012): Based on the scaling popularity of Graphic RPs and One-on-Ones I've decided that these kinds of RPs will retain their two-moth lifespan before being locked and Dead Thread'd. Mainly because, on 1-on-1, there's only two writers, whereas on others there tend to be around five. Two writers have less of a chance to post than five. On graphic RPs, I'm doing this because drawing may not be something the participants cold do quickly. I hope this made sense.
