A Land of War and Strife

This is a storytelling RP. It’s a new idea for writing that’s somewhere between an RP and an RSG. Posts will be less frequent, but longer. Everybody advances the story. Everybody advances the story. I typed that twice on purpose. Each post will have the name of the character whose perspective the post is written in. Obviously some ‘god-modding’ must occur. In fact I encourage it. As long as you understand the character from the bio given, all characters are fair game to use in your writing.

Because the posts are longer and we’re all advancing a single story here, we can’t have 3 folks writing simultaneously. We’ll need to take turns. We’ll go in the order people join. You can pass your turn whenever you want of course, just let one of us know in chat. If you don’t post anything and don’t let anyone know you aren’t able to, in two days your turn will pass automatically. One more thing: don’t badger folks to post. I doubt that will be a problem since nobody currently seems to really want to post (see: WEE) but I just wanted to make that clear.

There’s not really a premise for this one, everything is made up in the RP itself. You want a secret society of knitters? Mention it, or make them matter in the story. Make stuff up, and I guarantee you’re gonna dig this. To get an idea of what the world looks like so far and where your character could fit in, see the current posts in the main thread. :::Quiet- Amethyne doesn't say much unless asked. She will speak up if she sees something she strongly disagrees with(see below) or is strongly in favor of. She will also speak if addressed in her native tongue, and at that point she becomes something of a chatterbox. Her quietness is known to cause a great deal of frustration for others.
:::Loyal/Persistent- As evidenced by her quote, Amethyne does not give things up easily. Come injury, blood, or barrier, she will persist until all hope is lost, and sometimes even after that.
:::Attractive- Well, most people seem to think so. Amethyne herself doesn't really see it.
Disadvantages:
::: Illiterate- She cannot read most non-Daccari script. She knows a bit of the common script, but not enough to be comprehensive. Amethyne knows a bit of other tribal script, collectively far more than her knowledge of common, but individually it's also not comprehensive.
:::Will not Kill- Amethyne will fight for her life in any situation, but landing intentional killing blows is something she avoids. She
will allow others to do so, but not without attempting to convince them otherwise.

:::Daryl- Works(or worked, depending on what Gina thinks) with, is distrustful of.

Overview: An exile formerly of the Daccar tribe, Amethyne has taken to doing any job that keeps her fed and strong. So long as it keeps her away from those who want her dead, Amethyne will do it.

(Looking at the link, I saw a lot of Disadvantages that could and do apply to Amethyne. Should I add them or just keep them in mind whilst writing for her?)

::: Innocent - Despite what her profession might lead you to believe, Shea is a not-so-young maiden who is untouched as a spring blossom.

::: Imaginative - Shea dreams of far-off lands and adventures that a tavern-girl has no right dreaming. It hasn't stopped her yet, however.

::: Literate - Shea loves to read (a hobby she keeps to herself, as women have no reason to delve into the written word).

Disadvantages:
::: Inattentive - More often than not ends up lost around her village due to nt paying attention to where she's going or the people she's with.

::: Mute - Shea cannot speak, and has never said a word in her life. She carries around a small tablet on which she can write to get her message across, however.

Feelings towards the other characters:
::: Martyn - He is her lord, and must be treated with respect from a lowly peasant like herself.

::: Daryl - A roguish sellsword...he is dangerous and must be watched carefully.

::: Amathyne - A brave guardswoman, showing that women can to everything men can. A person to idolise, surely.

:::Pleasant- While not exactly charismatic, Navarro's words and attitude would best be described as pleasant, they seem to ease strangers around him (good, considering most people would regard a man dressed as an armed, walking potion cabinet as not particularly trustworthy). His presence is usually not bothersome to have around.
:::Scrupulous- With a strict regard to what he considers right, Navarro is not about to betray the morals and principles he shares with his order. They are, after all, what guides his life.
:::Resourceful- Whether it's about brewing a specific concoction, finding desired information, knowing who to contact or finding the most exciting way of shooting a piece of holy wood through the heart of a pagan, Navarro is particularly skilled in coming up with plans B, C, D and finding alternate routes that lead to the same objective.

Disadvantages:
:::Affiliation- Navarro is a completely committed member to a paramilitary, religious organization.
:::Hunting Witches/Vigilante Mentality- As per his organization's orders and ideals, Navarro spends his days hunting users of pagan magics and working as both their judge and executioner if headquarters fail to deliver specific orders (which they continuously do).
:::Thrillseeker: To raise the stakes and excitement of the hunt, Navarro tends to ignore the best plan in favor of the plan which seems most entertaining. Nothing can compare to the adrenaline of danger.

Overview: A witch hunter of some experience following the set of morals and trail of pagan mages laid out to him by his order.

Feelings towards the other characters:
:::Martyn- The man with clear noble upbringing that came into town accompanied by a small party? What the hell is someone of his stature doing in such a desolate town with barely anyone to defend him? Definitely interesting.
:::Daryl- The other male, yeah. What about him?
:::Amethyne- Tch. Looks like a tribal, holds herself like a tribal, but does not seem like the kind that messes with pagan magics. Although she probably holds pagan lore as true. Tch.
:::Shea- The nice ladylike girl who came with them? She's probably as much trouble as she looks. Which is to say, not that much.

Name: Satjit Telfar
Age: 24
Occupation: Magistrate (officially trained and legal mage)
Appearance:
Personality:
:::Educated- She always appreciates a good book and love of learning.
:::Outgoing- Although she is somewhat off-putting, Satjit enjoys conversation and likes to spend her time around people.
:::Paranoid- About being hunted, breaking the law, getting on someone's nerves; Satjit is cautious to the point of being, well, paranoid.
Disadvantages:
::: Curious- As much as she knows, she always wants to know more, more, MORE. Any little thing can pique her interest, and keeping her on track can be difficult.
:::Lecherous- Company is good, whenever it can be found.
Feelings towards the other characters: feel this out as we progress~
:::Navarro- Ignorant hunter of mages. Doesn't know a THING about actual magical use. What a complete waste of space.
:::Martyn- Strong and brave-hearted. Not bad looking, either.
:::Shea- Darling girl. So nice and polite. Shame about not being able to speak, though.
