This is a dictionary of terms that we may use in slasher games.
The Syndicate-The group. We work together, we win together. We maintain secrecy in terms of who is actually a member of The Syndicate.
NSM-Stands for Non Syndicate Member. One of the countless morons on The-N who play the game all while really being played. They are grouped into three categories.
1. Dumbness-The dimmest of the NSM. They are easily controlled and manipulated. They will usually become confused if you inform them that they have been controlled (ex. Dysderm)
2. Bitches-These players like to attempt to banter with Syndicate members. However do not be fooled as this will soon degrade into simple, "your stuupiod" claims and other such nonsense. These are the most fun NSM to belittle and work against one another.
3. Threats-These players have had run ins with the Syndicate in the past and hold a grudge. These players may attempt to inform the others that the Syndicate is working together and may attempt to eliminate Syndicate members immediatly. These NSM MUST be dealt with as soon as possible.
4. Masterminds-These players are intelligent and able to counter some of the Syndicate's moves. Currently all Masterminds reside as members of The Syndicate.
Pawn-Non Syndicate member who is being controlled by The Syndicate in the current game. Pawns usually demonstrate little free will and intelligence. Easy way to choose potential pawns is if they use words such as "hawt, kool, idk how to play"
Checkmate-Offical claim that is made by a member of the Syndicate in the chat of Slasher. This claim cannot be made unless the member honestly thinks there is a 100% chance that The Syndicate will emerge victorious
Feint-A tactic used by a lone slasher when there are inactive players in the game. Instead of killing someone that night they allow them to live. This gives the impression that one of the inactive players is really the slasher. This is a very useful tactic and lone non Syndicate players should be mistrusted in case they are are attempting to carry out this maneuver.
VM-Stands for Vote Majority. This means that The Syndicate is able to have the majority in voting off someone during the day portion of Slasher. This is what The Syndicate strives to maintain in each game.
Death Note-A mail sent to a NSM informing them that they will be killed that night or voted out that day. It is a way to mess with their mind and infuriate them. This should only be done when VM is held and there is no chance of The Syndicate being exposed because of this.
