Davean looked at the burning bodies with a saddened face.
" This darkness has consumed so many people. I could not save many from the curse, it spread so much in such little time. I will do what I can to make sure that they are in forever peace. I am sorry Prince Shudin, I will be right back. "
He walked closer to the burning Corpses and when it was too hot to continue, the Cleric went to his knees in prayer. The smell was so bad that he almost vomited, but he knew that Kami would make him strong to do his duty. His prayer was in an a diffrent language. It was the first language of the Clerics of Kami and it sounded almost celestrial in the way the words flowed.
" Oh Kami lord of Light, give these people rest in the afterlife. Let them suffer no more from the demonic clutches of Lorde. Please Lord Kami, give them peace. "
The Cleric began to glow a bright white and thenhe moved his hand in a horizontal way. The fire subsided and the charred bodies began to glow. Suddenly a light wind hit, and the bodies began to turn into a golden dust. The wind took the dust upward into the sky and from there who knew. For a short time, the city became a light that was not caused by fire, but a light that shattered the darkness. An entire city was wiped out, and Davean knew he put the citizens to rest now.
" Thankyou Kami. "
he said as he got up and walked toward the Prince again.
" Prince Shudin, If you allow, I will offer my services in this to restore the light. I am not a fighter, but I have many other abilities that can help you. Will you allow me to join you? "

[Vale]

Armarant sensed it, he knew the work of another planeswalker. They were close, perhaps a neighboring City. It was like thousands of voices singing in cheer.

And it racked his mind to no end.

"Come, We must make haste, there is something arising in a city nearby. Hunt them down and kill them." Armarant spoke as he snapped his fingers to the shadow minions around him. "Are you coming?" he asked to the woman who was with him.

"Idiot!" Meian hissed, his eyes narrowing and stabbing at the cleric. "There was a reason I was burning them! Fire is a lot less attractive then Bless in this land! As a cleric, use your brain!" Quickly he traced a symbol in the air, a burning gold thread being left behind to hover. He placed his hand in the middle of the symbol, closing his eyes and letting the magic flow. Instantly, the gold symbol stretched out into the third dimension, encompassing the fallen angel's hand. It shrank, covering the skin like a glove, before fading. He opened his eyes, the colours in them twisting furiously. "I would suggest you hurry yourselves in preparation, I have a feeling we'll be leaving shortly, unless one among us has finished their life's work."

[Tusk]

" It may of been idiotic, but I could not simply let these people burn to ash and let it be the end of it. It may draw Darknesse, but by Kami's Light, I would rather face an army of Darknesse if it meant that innocent people who were infected and died would have their rites. "
The Cleric began to glow slightly with every word he spoke. His eyes were filled with a determination that would not die. He might be forced to walk alone, and if that was the case, then he would accept his fate and move on. To him, life was important. Anyone who had brains could see life as fleeting, and that someone else would not be as important than themselves. However, to Davean, his life meant nothing if it meant sacraficing another to stay alive. He then felt Darknesse inclosing on them.
He took hold of his holy symbol and looked to the others.
" I drew on two from the dark, they feel powerful. They are closing in fast. If you wish to move, then we should start now. If you wish to move without me then just say the word, otherwise, I will follow and do what I can to slow them down. "

[Vale]

Armarant sighed as he stepped out of a temporal portal and nearly 100 paces away from the group.
"You will try to slow me down, and you will fail." He spoke as he crossed his arms, his shadow minions outstretching and enveloping around him, sucking in the freely released souls from the Cleric's hand.

"Such a pity my voidwalkers had to arrive and feast on these souls you've released, truly Cleric, I must thank you. You've freed others to be enslaved by the darknesse in a way in which I never could." He smiled stepping a bit. "My walkers were hungry for any living thing, but these fresh souls will do quite nicely." He smiled again.
"May i inquire as to why you all are gathered here? Lest alone why you are doing these....traitorous acts to my lord."

[Shorik]

Before the group had a chance to flee, it appeared that one of those dark beings appeared, complete with minions. The dark being seemed quite calm. Then again, who wouldn't be, if they had the advantage?
"Traitorous, eh?" Shudin piped up, "Such a word isn't in my vocabulary, sorry."
It probably wasn't smart provoking this guy, but Shudin couldn't help it. It was in his nature.

[Vale]

Armarant gazed at the man standing in front of him, piping his little voice spocket with little regard to who he was.
"Silence your tongue before my walkers feast on it." He smiled, "living preferably." He spoke, "Although." He smiled waving his hand to temporarily dismiss his voidwalkers. "There, now I'm not limited by these...pests." He spoke, surprisingly.

Lifting both of his hands, he began to glow a blue aura as his eyes were alit by a blue flame as well.
"This is time in which you try to run, assuming you can..."

Meian sighed. "It is in times like these, where you do remarkably stupid things as a cleric, that I am forced to give you what all clerics here at one point. I told you so."
With that, the angel disappeared, reappearing a distance away atop one of the buildings. "Armarant," he shouted. "Recognise your enemies quickly, before they get a chance to act against you."
A silvery white circle appeared around the voidhopper, golden motes floating in the still air. As one, the motes detonated, a loud golden explosion. Meian reappeared next to the group, where he had been previously standing. "I'd suggest you run. Trust me when I say this isn't a place for any of you." He smiled slightly at Aimi. "No offense."
In an instant he was on the other side of the town's center, atop the opposite building.

OOC: I hope you don't mind if Mei and Armarant have had a few prior run-ins, trav. I figure it'll spice things up. Plus, if they're both really old, it'll have been hard to not meet at one point. If you decide not, s'okay I'll just edit this post. xD

"And what's that supposed to mean?" Aimi glared at Meian. She could tell she wasn't going to like him very much - but she could also tell she was going to have to get used to him. She pulled out the harmonica, which quickly turned into a piccolo. She began to play a rambunctious (and a little irritated) version of the Light song. She closed her eyes, and waited for the shreiking to begin.

((OOC: Sorry for shortness - I figured I wouldn't add more, for fear of Godmodding. Eh - it's more interesting if more people have freedom.))

Shudin felt a slight pang in his ear from the tune the female angel played. It wasn't because it was badly played. It was something else. Regardless, the theif shrugged it off, and began to flee, just as the other angel advised. Of course, he probably would have done so even if the angel didn't advise it. While there'd be those who'd label Shudin a coward for such an action, he saw it as being smart. To get into a fight that you cannot win is stupid.

OOC: Kyle, do you really think that you would even be able to move like that, tsk tsk tsk. Armarant's entire job is to un-make the world. Every spell someone can cast, he can un-cast. It just takes time, which happens....to be on Armarant's side.

IC:
Armarant waved his hand and muted the explosions around him.
"Pathetic Angel, I should have ended your existence centuries ago." He spoke glowing blue again and phasing out, appearing directly behind Meian.
"Begone!" He shouted, rending the space around Meian to be thrown back years, decades even.

Landing back on the, now evident ground, he smiled as Meian wasn't visible. However, he had dealt with the Angel before, and visibility didn't guarantee success with him.

Turning back to the fleeing troops, Armarant flung up his hand.
"Go, Voidwalkers, hunt them down....kill them, devour their souls!" He shouted as the 4 voidwalkers which were accompanying the Temporal Mage arrived and began flickering after the group which were with Meian.

Gazing back, and much to his disdain, the Angel had returned. Obviously worn, but not yet defeated.

[Tusk]

He looked to the other two and nodded to them as he waited for them to run. The thief was already off and he looked to the Angel with a smile as he held his holy symbol up high.
" Kami, let these beasts feel your might! "
He shouted as One voidwalker began to close in. A breeze hit the cleric which made him smile. He closed his eyes and the breeze suddenly became a powerful wind. Buildings who were structurally damaged soon began to fall and the Voidwalker who was closing in began to lose footing and fall and was sent back. Davean then let out a calm sigh as the wind subsided. The cleric still held up his symbol as he began muttering a prayer. The voidwalker who was knocked down, got back up and charged at him. It jumped up and swung down to the cleric, only to hit a shield of glowing energy. It was Kami's protection, a Powerful sheild that could deflect all but the most powerful spells. Just by the energy from the shield, the direct opposite of what the voidwalker was made of, it began to catch fire. It was holy fire. THe Void walker was soon reduced to nothing more than ash. However, the Cleric was no fool. He began to run and pray that the others were alright.

Three Voidwalkers were left pursuing Davean, Shudin and the female angel. Shudin was impressed by the Cleric's tactics, but knew that getting away wouldn't be that easy.

He was right. A voidwalker had caught up with him now, and moved in for an attack. Shudin sidestepped the attack, and slashed the Voidwalker as he drew his sword. He then gave it a swift kick to the face before plunging his blade into it's chest, killing it. With the number reduced, Shudin started fleeing once more.

IC: Meian breathed heavily, his chest heaving up and down with the expended effort. I had almost forgotten how much energy I need for a battle such as this... It's a good thing movement is on my side today. The sudden teleportation had thrown his energy off-balance for a moment, delaying his reappearance for a short time. It was a sloppy spell, to say the least. As long as I can avoid those pockets, it shouldn't be much trouble.
It had been awhile since the angel had had to practice this fighting style, avoiding not just the enemy but the space around himself as well. Movement was vital, the only protection against his certain death. Once he was sent back in time, there was no choice but to wait the eons over again--powerful he may be, time wasn't yet in his dominion.
