Shorik did feel rejuvinated by the flame, and was grateful these people were on his side.
"Thanks." he said. His mind felt cleared up now. Sure, he didn't exactly know what was going on, but, he did know that right now was not the time to ponder it.
Shudin looked upon the growing group before him. At first he was shocked that this many peopel had survived the darkness, and were in such proximity to one another. Then, he started to think of the possibilities if he cold sway them to join his band of theives.
"Heh heh." he chuckled to himself.
The barrage of Light attacks were having their effect on Argon, for sure. However, they were doing an excellent job at raising his temper as well.
With a roaring bellow, wisps of darkness, and black flames errupted from the half-demon in every direction. it broke through the walls Davean had placed, but it did not hamr the group.
Argon stood where he had before, a slightly twisted look in his eyes. His coat was undone to reveal his demon arm. Dark energy was flowing from it.
"This is a world of Darkness!" he said, "No light can remain in this world long!"
The half-demon then raised his demon arm and opened his palm. From it, a wave of dark flames shot forth at the group.
As the flames struck Shorik, he fell back a few feet. He then began to channel whatever light energy he could find into his blade. The blade began to shine white from the reaction. Satisfied, the young man rushed to Argon, and made a jump strike with his sword.
"Argh!" the half-demon cried out, "You three got lucky this time. Next time, don't count on it."
A portal opened behind Argon as he began to walk backwards into it. Despite his loss, he was still grinning.
Amarant, I wonder how effective you'll be without a portion of your power...
