In the Winds Of Time (( Orb of Power Rp ))

I have sort of missed the Orb of Power. Ever Since the fall of the Second Rp, I was curious as to how to make it better. This time I wish to try something diffrent.

1000 years have passed. After Davik gave his very soul to put an end to the Orbs of Power, The Orbs Unraveled the very weave of magic, thus no one could touch magic ever again. This stopped the Towers from ever being activated, and the Orb from ever being created again. In that 1000 years, the land began healing. The scars from 1000 years ago never fully healed and war was a thing no one wanted. Soldiers were used to keep the peace as Soon, Merc bands began forming to pillage lost kingdoms do what they could to make some gold.
However, There were rumors of strange happenings through out the Land of Treygon. People were disappearing, assassinations were on the rise, and there was a rumor of a cult forming and they were the cause. The King, King Dison, ancestor to the brother of Davik, Delvion, Formed a investigative group to search for this Cult. The King was troubled by the news, and after his Son, Kasik, the only son to the crown had dissappeared, he hoped that there would be at least some news as to where he was.
The of the Search party, One came back.

" What is this? Why only have you returned? What happened to the others? "
The king demanded, his son still pressing on his worry.

" Sorry your Highness, I managed to escape barely with my life. This Cult did something strange my lord. They greeted us not with arrows or the blade, but with fire flying from their hands and other things not of this world. They are demons my lord! "
The soldier said as he fell to one knee. How he was alive, that was anyone's guess.
" However. "
He spoke weakly as his breathing got shollow.
" We did hear a rumor about Prince Kasik. He was rumored to be in a Mercenary Group. As to which one, I do not know. "
With that he collapsed on the floor, inches from Death's clutching grip.
The King with a renewed life htting his face ordered the Soldier to be sent to the healing quarters immeadiatly. He canceled all other meetings and went into his private chambers. The news that this Cult could actually use magic was disturbing and had to be dealt with. He however was overjoyed that His son was still alive. It had been 6 years to the day since Kasik disappeared. He was a great warrior at such a young age even though he perfered a Spear over the Customary sword. The king did not even know why Kasik left when he did. He knew just what to do to see his son. He began writing a note meanwhile sending a sevant to fetch the General of the army. The note read.

To all Mercenaries and Adventurers,
I King Dison, King of all Treygon invite you to a tournement. I am selecting the best of the best for a quest of the most importance. On the day before the Summer Festival, In the Castle of Aron. I will personally host a Tournement of Skill in combat. Bring your weapons and be ready. The tournement will pit you against other mercs and soldiers alive.

The general was given the same orders. He was to select from his troops to participate in this Tournement. Then those selected would be sent to stop the Cult and whatever they were trying to tap into.

Alrighty Folks as it stated, there will be no playable char that can use magic. Even now, no one except the wounded soldier and the king know that magic is not just a story. As for healing, We have Herbalist and Healers. Potion makers, please keep in mind that superpowered potions are a no. Alchemist fire is ok, as well as ones that would increase the heart rate so it looks as though everything is slowed is ok. Just be really careful as to what you do. Alchemists are really pushing the magic thing so do not go over. Also no one is in the cult. I have plans for them.

Name- Kasik Orntro

Age- 23

Class- Spearman

Merc or Soldier- Merc

Description-
That is the jist of him except with longer hair and a double bladed glaive. He is also less depressed.

Personality- Kasik Is a man who simply does not care. He really goes with just about anything. Want to charge into a room of theives with only your weapon and a pair of pants....sure why not. He tries everything not to be in charge yet finds himself incharge of more things than he cares to count. He does not get angry, but has been known to be a royal smart ass. His Sarcasm is only matched by his melee ability. He knows when to take charge and does it, but it is simply much too fun to annoy his enemies into attacking. He is also a lazy person and will lounge about whenever it suits him. He is smart and can anylize everything rapidly. He has a good heart and will do what he can to make people smile. He hates it when people are harmed for petty reasons like greed.

History- He was born into royalty. He had everything he wanted except the freedom of the open world. He had a great education, and he was raised in combat. For a long time soldiers were amused by him taking a spear over a sword and let him train with it. As he got older, the amusement turned into anger as they could not beat Kasik when he had a spear in hand. Soon it was time to learn the sword and he hated it. It was just not him, plus it was a pain to try and lean with it. When he was 17, he could not take the royal life anymore. Too much responsibility. No do not eat like that, no do not spit out the window, no do not try and flirt with the pretty servant girl. All of this annoyed him. He left The castle with only the clothes on his back and enough gold to get himself out on the road, oh and a spear. On his travels, he soon found himself fighting an entire merc group known as the Hawks. After beating everyone they sent at him, he was then face to face with the leader. A giant of a man they called Tusk. Rather than fight, Tusk offered a spot in the gang and Kasik was soon a part of the rapidly growing popularity of the Hawks. Kasik soon earned himself more gold than he knew what to do with. He got a better weapon, more comfortable clothes, and never stopped being a merc. All the while he was avoiding Search Parties and only Tusk knew who he really was. Kasik just went by boy, or twit, or jack ass or the ever growing call of YOU BASTARD!!! Kasik had a thing for the ladies and he stepped on many toes of fathers and boyfriends alike. He has never been happier.

Physical flaw- Kasik is well balanced in impact strength, speed, endurance, and balance. However he is not one in all out strength. He is not a heavy lifter and the weight he carries becomes an issue. He tries to stay as light as possible.

Psycological flaw- His laid back additude can cause him to do some down right dumb things. He is also not one to stand someone shouting at him. He gets stubborn.

Extra- He has a double bladed glaive that has had enough gold put into it to make this custom weapon unique and dangerous. The pole his black so it hides three rings that seperate with a twist of the wrist. It hides chains that can make his blade turn and bend and ultimatly become more of a whip than polearm. It gives him more reach and more versitility than a polearm usually does.

Name- Treya Elle Normfier

Age- 21

Class- Swordbearer

Merc or Soldier- I probably need clarification on this, but I'm gonna say Merc.

Description- Treya is a very exuberant looking character. She has bright orange hair that hangs to her mid-back, and also has two long blonde bangs that frame her face. She has orange eyes that match her hair nicely but always convey her emotions very clearly. She has very pale skin, and a tall, curvy build. Her hands look very strong and calloused, and seem to be one size too big for her slender arms. She's very sensitive about her hands, despite the fact that they bold know their way around a sword so well. She wears green leather armour, but also has a long white, elegant dress underneath. Somehow she always seems to keep said dress pretty clean and untorn. She uses one longsword with a razor sharp point but moderately dull sides, and one shortsword with almost no point but incredibly sharp sides. The shortsword has a pearl in the hilt, and she always feels extra energized when using it. A healer once told her that the pearl had healing capabilities.

Personality- Treya is a very bubbly person, who can't seem to stop chatting. She cracks jokes at the most innapropriate times and can make anything seem utterly silly. She talks throughout her brawls, which often distracts her opponent, giving her an opening to stick her longsword into their chest, or get it close enough to kill them. She'll also sing songs during battles, which, though her voice is beautiful, usually distracts or annoys the opponent. She's very creative, but has no patience for art. She makes up rhymes, poems and tales on the spot, and usually they are entertaining, if nothing else. If she wern't an expert swordsman, she would be a bard.

History- Born into a large family living in the country, she learned to defend herself quickly. She only had two sisters, and eight brothers, so she picked up sparring at the mere age of four. One of her oldest brothers, Halen, taught her to swordfight at 12, and she became an expert of her trade at 16. But at 17, right when she was about to move out and start a life of her own, her parents' house caught fire. The whole forest around it turned to ashes in a matter of hours. Her mother and four of her brothers were left with mere ashes to rebuild their life. Feeling like there was no hope, Treya turned to a life of crime. She stole food for her family, and supplies to rebuild the house. She stole anything she thought she could get away with. Finally, at 20, she got caught stealing, and spent a long time locked away. Now, she's only been out a week, and is looking for a fresh start.

Physical flaw- Being tall and gangly, she is also quite clumsy, and sometimes trips over her own feet (both literally and figuratively)

Psycological flaw- Her conscience has kicked in over all the people she hurt from her stealing and she'll sometimes break down randomly.

Extra- She's quite lonely after such a long time locked away from civilization.

Name- Queen Seras Atalanta Mirkia of Bern, High Crown III of the Council of the Round
Age- 25
Class- Blademaster

Merc or Soldier- Neither.
Description-
Personality- A calm, even-toned woman to the core, Seras never raises her voice or becomes overly angry at any time. She is highly respectful of others, keeping a distance from those who do not wish to be disturbed. As a Queen, she is used to being admired but retains a healthy level of humbleness.
History- Queen of Bern, Seras traveled to help her fellow Monarch. She did not intend to join the fighting, but her husband Joshua promised to keep the kingdom strong, so she enlisted herself. War is in her blood, as she is the descendant of the founder of Bern, the
Orb Knight Sara Mirkia.
Physical flaw- Swift, but very, very vulnerable to attack. Hitting her once is likely to be enough for a moderately-strong fighter.
Psycological flaw- Highly uncertain of herself. Seras has been told numerous times that she's "Just a princess who thinks she can swing a sword.", so she tends to believe this a bit.
Extra- Her sword is a royal Bern family heirloom, the Save the Queen. It is incredibly valuable.

Name-"Forest Lord" Rhys Ajani

Class- Ranger (a Bowman with decent proficiency with a short curved sword)

Description-
Personality- A Cunning, Coniving, and most untrustworthy individual if you ever find him in combat against you. However, if you fight alongside him, many battle worn soldiers would not trade him for Leagues and Leagues of men. He's intelligent, and when he's off the battle field someone who's relatively light hearted and sarcastic. Although he constantly has the air to him that he is both hunter and the hunted. Fleeing from city to city for some unknown cause.
History- Rhys Ajani was born to a different kind of kingdom. He was the first son of a troup of Rangers, vagabond rangers, but rangers nonetheless. They would travel from Royal Kingdom to Kingdom, enlisting their services, until they were of no more use, than they would slaughter the Royal Family and change the Royal Family to have one of them, and one of the original. Almost as if they were constantly seeding their own families into the royals, ensuring their existence later in life.
However, when Rhys was supposed to murder the Crowned Prince of Burr, he wound up fighting him in combat, and as expected, killed him in a royal duel. However, upon hearing that the Crowned Prince had survived the battle, he snuck into the chambers to find his own Family waiting for him, it was a trap due to Rhys's 'family' selling him to the Kingdom of Burr. The Ranger-General Rhys Ajani, bethrowed to a Secondary Royale, and the Crowned Prince still alive.
Feeling betrayed by his own family, he unleashed several of his stores of Poison in the room, paralyzing all but himself, and it was then, it was believed that the Ranger Rhys Ajani was dead, and in his place was the murderous Forest Lord. It was said he spilt all of the blood of every living thing in that room, bleeding out women, his family, and even the youngest of the Troup.
Upon leaving, he was discovered by the Crowned Prince of Burr and was chased out of the Kingdom.

It was then in which he had formed his own troup of Rangers, known as The Gilt-Leaf, they're an organization of hired hunters, packmasters, animal trainers, and other forms of rangers. They're the arrows from the shadows, and the knife in the back. Although even Rhys doesn't trust those who follow his orders unquestionably.
Physical flaw- Rhys has a breathing problem, so that after he expends a great deal of energy, he begins to wheeze and cough up trace amounts of blood. (As due to him breathing in some of his poison from when he escaped Burr)
Psychological flaw- Being that he is both an Exiled Royal, as well as a Ranger General who is currently being hunted, he's developed a very very very heightened level of paranoia, thinking that everyone close to him, is a spy planted by his kingdom, just waiting to kill him.
Extra- (Technically an Elf, but that's not really vital. Being a Human is just as fine.) His weapons are all laced with a debilitating paralysis poison concocted by the lands best alchemists and potions masters.

[Shorik]

Name- Shorik Arlion
Age- 21
Class- Swordsman
Merc or Soldier- Soilder
Description- Shorik stands at roughly 6 feet, and weighs about 152 lbs. He's built more along the 'lean and tall' lines. He has dark brown shaggy hair, and sapphire blue eyes. He's generally seen wearing a crimson, cloth shirt, black cloth pants, and brown soilder's boots. He's also got two sheathes strapped to his back for his swords, as well as a shield holder. He also has a brown belt around his waist.

Like almost every Soilder, Shorik commonly wears armour. Unlike the average soilder, though, he doesn't wear much of it, even in a grand scale battle. Shorik only wears a patch of a breastplate over his heart, shoulderguards, and leather gauntlets. In his opinion, full armour slows a person down too much, making them a sitting duck.
Personality- Shorik is fairly laid back. He would rather do something enjoyable than some boring guard duty, and as a result, tends to be a troublemaker among the soilders. He does have a sense of honour, and loyalty, even if eh doesn't show it.
History- Shorik was an orphan, taken in by one of King Dison's generals, Sefito Malteon. Sefito tried raising Shorik to be a discplined knight, but was only partially successful. Shorik did joint he soilders, and had talent in battle, but was not quite that disciplined. His carefree nature caused him to slack off, or otehr forms of disobedience. The most obviosu of these was the young man's refusal to wear the standard issue armour, stating that it would "impede his abilities" and, "was too stiff and dull-looking".

Despite his discipline flaws, Shorik was never removed fromt he soilders. His talents in battle made sure of that. When King Dison announced the tournament, Shorik was quick to sign up, eager to show off.
Physical flaw- Shorik has great agility and strength, but he lacks in defenses, both manufactured, and natural.
Psycological flaw- Shorik is too carefree for a knight. He'll blatently disobey orders if he feels like it, and as a result, loses the respect fo some.
Weapons:
Mighty Sword- A single-hand sword made of mythril. It is easy to use, and fairly effective. The blade is silver, while the hilt is golen (look up the image for "Dragonquest viii Liquid Metal Sword for an idea)
Crusher- A two-handed greatsword made of obsidian. The blade is a dark grey in colour, while the hilt is crimson.
Soilder's shield- A medium sized shield, used in combonation with the Mighty Sword.

Name: Elliott Lenae Rockferry. [Elle]
Age: 22.
Class: Fencer.
Merc or Soldier: Soldier.
Description:

Personality: Elle is very condescending. Even at a young age, she still feels as though she is far more superior then anyone who comes her way. Because of this reason she can be a bit of a turn off. It’s strange to how such a beautiful, young girl could be such an inconsiderate bitch, but Elle manages to fill the void perfectly. Somewhere inside her ice queen persona does seem to be a kind and friendly girl. It’s just hard to see because she exposes it to certain people. Some other good things about Elle would be her sharp-wittedness. She’s a very fast thinker and is about to get herself out of trouble thanks to her naturally clever nature. Elle is extremely regal-like. She was born in wealth, with her father being one of many advisers to the King, so she knows how a proper lady should behave. She just mixes traditional customs with customs of her own. Elle acts the way she wants to and for that, she's seen as a rebel.

History: The daughter of Lord Chamberlain Titus Rockferry, Elliot was originally thought to be male during the months leading up to her mother’s due date. After she was obviously born a female baby, Elle was pretty much adored by all. She was spoiled to an all time high as if she was a princess of some kind. However, when she reached her teenage years Elliot began to rebel from her family. Her first step was dressing out of character. She started wearing less clothing and that didn’t receive too well with her parents, or any other traditionalist. Then, she cut her hair which was a sign to everyone that she needed to be watched closely. When a woman cut her hair, it showed others that not only she was looking to differentiate herself from society, but she was getting far too independent. Her parent’s tried to convince her that she was going out of control, but she hadn’t listened to them. She had then secretly done something that neither one of them, her father especially, would approve of. She joined the military. Once her parent’s found out, Elle was shunned by her father, who vowed to never accept Elliot unless she quit. She's looking to prove to him that she can do anything she wants.

Physical flaw: Despite being quite graceful and quick on her feet, Elle’s small stature does have a setback. She has little to no strength, which causes her to get hurt often once she gets hit. Unlike her male counterparts, Elle’s strength needs much more work. That is why she has been trained to be so quick that there is no need to worry about being strong.

Psychological flaw: Elle is probably too independent. As a soldier, she is to rely on others often and listen to rules, but for some reason she won’t. She prefers to stand alone and follow her own rules. Also, her attitude should probably be a little more respectful, but that would be hard to convince her. She’s way too self absorbed.

Extra: Her weapons are a Rapier, Ace and a Saber, Spade. Her preference is to fight with the Rapier so she usually fights with that.

Name- Sir Ivan Felldor

Age- 25

Class- Knight

Merc or Soldier- Soldier

Description-

Personality- Sir Felldor is a serious man. He laughs little and jokes even less, however he is not heartless in the least. He takes his title as a Knight of Treygon seriously. Felldor lives by honor. Honor your friends, honor your enemy, then you will be honored. He is also a kind man to those who earns his trust and will do what he can to help as long as it is not dishonorable. He follows the rules and will not break them unless the order is in conflict with a good heart. He will throw himself in harm's way if a friend is in danger.

History- Ivan Felldor was born into the Noble Felldor Family, the King's war advisors. Felldor was raised as strict as possible. He grew up on rules and was disiplined for breaking them. Due to this, he grew up to be the more responsible one of the four. The four consisted of Kasik, Elle, Shorik, and himself. He was the one who tried to keep them out of trouble and was the one who took responsibility when they did get in trouble. He was trained under General Sefito and learned how to master the greatsword. He was not as fast as Kasik, or Shorik, but he made up for it with a diciplined attack style that held its own against them. When Kasik left, Felldor knew why, but did not agree with it at all. He knew his duty and Kasik ran away from his. Ivan soon became a knight in the King's army and has led many men in making sure the city was kept in order. He was excluded from the tournament due to duties in the city, but no one questions his martial might.

Physical flaw- He can hold his own in strength and is smart enough to fight off quick foes, but he is slow do to the armor and weapon. He can fight from sun up to sun down, but he can not run long distances and can get burnt out if he is not careful with his swings.

Psycological flaw- He has lived a life of rules and honor. He tends to lose his calm when too many rules are broken and if he does it as well, he can have a slight break down. If he does something Dishonorable, he can break down completely as he thinks of himself as nothing more than a savage animal.

Extra- He weilds an ancestoral greatsword that has a hidden power. It can glow when magic is in use and it has other effects, none of which he knows of.

Name- Princess Clarina Mimise Mirkia of Bern

Age- 17

Class- Healer

Merc or Soldier- Technically soldier.

Description-

Personality- Very naive and a bit bratty, Clarina has a tendency to mouth off against others and has a bit of a mean streak. She's very intelligent, having learned potion-making in record time and being an excellent healer. She is more tomboyish than her regal sister and this shows with her 'holier than thou' attitude. Despite this, she is a genuinely sweet person at heart and only wants to help Seras serve Bern.

History- The youngest of the Three Bern Flowers, Clarina has often been ignored in favor of her more talented and girly sisters, Seras and Taite. Because she was neither as beautiful nor as well-liked as her sisters, Clarina took up studying to show off her perk- a strong mind. She is renowned as one of the best young healers in Bern, perhaps in the world, and her potion-making is envied across the land. In spite of this, Clarina still longs for love and recognition, so she's secretly followed her sister to King Dison in hope of being a great hero and finding a husband.

Physical flaw- Is not a fighter, but she can swing that staff pretty well. Still, she will NOT be trying to start any real fights.

Psycological flaw- Very childlike and far too innocent for her own good.

Extra- Has held a rather strong crush for Prince Kasik ever since meeting him when she was six. Her staff is said to be another artifact of her ancestor Sara.

If it were my RP, I'd say yes, but Dav (the creator) has gone AFK apparently forever. This means that your bio can't be approved, unless a Senior Member takes over the RP.
Hell, if you really want to join, go ahead. I'm sure someone will see it and take over the RP or just tell you to post all you like.
