FEBRUARY
*Show girls come out dancing, while an orchestra plays in the background. There's obviously a bigger budget this awards show, unlike the last one. Out from behind the curtains emerges one ot he most beautifulest women in the world: Aubrey. Dressed in a gorgeous designer gown, she proceeds to walk to the center stage*
HELLO!
With only a couple of hours left in the month, we've officially made it to February's winners for the "of the month" series. Following along the tradition I created for the first winners ceremony, I will list the nominees of the category, then the winner of the category, and after that some encouraging words. Instead of the way I did the encouraging words in the January's ceremony, I am going to refrain from giving away the names of members. It gives off a mysterious feeling that causes you all to wonder who said something. I also want to say that the race was extremely tight this time around. Votes were really close in some categories. Anyway, let us start the ceremony!
*Audience Claps*
The second month of the year, February, brought us an abundance of great storylines, characters, and writers. Honestly speaking, I felt as though the writing this month was much stronger in comparison to last months. However, if you think about it, there seemed to be less of it this month although there might not have been. February brought in a sense of depth to not only the writers this month, but their characters. I was surprised with how well you all adapted to making characters you would have normally wouldn't. From the intelligent children of Action & Consequences, to the hilariously funny roommates of Room For Rent, or the different races of Candleridge there was no shortage of character development this month. And for that, we have some people to show thanks to: the writers.
The writer is able to create the character, scenery, the story, absolutely everything to the RPG. Without the writer, there would be nothing. Writers are able to record the ups and downs of the story in an elaborate selection of wordage. They can make you sad, reading about a mother, on her last breath attempting to survive from cancer. They can make you joyous of the amazingly wimpy man rescuing the princess from the clutches of the villainous antagonist. But even better than all of that, the writers are the people who keep this website alive. They're the reason we continue to grow as we write more and more. And we could also thank them for the posts
The Nominees for Best Writer of the Month are:
- Bri.
- Aubrey.
- Kath.

And the winner is...... BRI!
Congratulations to Bri for winning and the other nominees! Here now is some excerpts from the voters!
"She disappeared for so long that I couldn't even remember how she wrote. But now she's back and jumping in head first! That takes pluck, and I couldn't be gladder to have her back. Also, we need more fangirls on this website, and I'm glad to have her in our ranks!"
- Voter 1.
"For coming back to the site after yeeeaaaars of absence and abandonment and getting her RPG-age up in no time. It's nice to see that after coming back she was interested in several of the RPs held in here and submitted bios for several of them. It's also quite nice to see Bri's talent remains the same, if not better. Her writing is able to take on different tones and mood adequate for the situation at hand (comedy for R4R and seriousness for Perdition). She's also been quite enthusiastic about it all, I think, and a riot of a woman too. Like, totally congratz and stuff, K, Bri?"
-Voter 7.
"I'm still going for Bri on this one. I'll admit, when I first saw that she was joining RPGs I was a little skeptical, not sure if she would be sticking around or not. But then not only did she prove me wrong, but to add insult to injury she also brought to life these great characters that I found myself relating to. Go Bri!"
- Voter 3.
"She's back, she posts furiously, and always brings new depth into old stories."
- Voter 12.
Yay! Once again I want to congratulate Bri. It takes a great amount of dedication to come back from posting in nothing to winning. You've done such a great job to the site and your contribution to everything is so needed. Thanks should also be welcomed to Kath, and myself [mostly Kath though] as we were the other nominees. :]
Up Next will be: Character of the Month. [With a very special guest!] Stay tuned!
