“Room 4 Rent”
What would you do if you were given the opportunity to live in the most beautiful place only to have it stripped away from you in a matter of a few months? Danielle Young definitely understands how this would feel because this is exactly what is happening to her. Three months into having the place, not only does she lose her successful job but she finds out that she’s going to be put out in the matter of days if she doesn’t find a way to pay her rent.
After weighing out every option possible, Danielle did the last thing she had wanted to do ever… look for a roommate. She just didn’t feel comfortable having complete strangers live with her, but there was nothing else she could do. She soon submitted forms for requests all over town and over the internet. Knowing New Yorkers, there was bound to be at least a couple of people who were liable to help her pay the rent every month. She just didn’t hope every- single- one of her requests would be answered by crazy people. Having to weed through every person, Danielle found her first candidate, Brendon Blackwell. He was far too lazy and easy going for her liking, but at that point the only thing Dani cared about was whether he was going to be able to afford the rent, which surprisingly he could. The only problem now is filling in the places for the several other rooms unoccupied.
You wouldn’t happen be interested in renting a room, would you?

“Alright so I’m walking down Chambers Street on a windy afternoon, my cig is smoking right back at me so I can’t see worth a darn and just as I turn the corner-the one at the Indian pizza parlor-some broad nails me bad. I know I ain’t no physics professor but the little lady had to be speed walking something crazy.”
“Worse yet she was holding like a hundred fliers that just went about everywhere. Since I thought she was kinda hot in that CEO-styled top and skirt (-darn if I didn’t think to get a peek-) I decided to help her with them. The fliers were for roomies on a real swanky place in Manhattan.”
“Hell I was homeless, so why not? It’s not a long story so stay in your seat. The last apartment I had burned down, turns out it was this old man Fitzgerald. I always had my doubts about that guy: waaaay too fascinated with that lighter I lent him and not to mention his collection of wicker furniture.”
“Anyways Danielle turned out to have a perpetual stick up her ass personality-wise, and we needed more roomies besides. I’ll of course do what every gentleman would do in such a situation: search for babes to enjoy my company! Haha!”
Sometimes opposites just don't attract. Or do they? Surely time will tell.
