Brief History: In his past, Cassius Payne was a highly respected actor, loved by many people, both fans and the movie critics. He seemed to have everything going for him until the one thing that we all must deal with caught up with him: age. As he got older, his popularity began to waver, his once dashing good looks slowly began to fade behind a visage known as middle age, yet he remained a very handsome man, aging gracefully.
Driving home one night, Hagan was involved in a horrible car accident, disfiguring his face and ruining the only thing he had left. He was delivered to an emergency burn clinic and remained there until he recovered. While in this clinic he was approached by a man called Roland Daggett, a corrupt businessman, who used Cassius as a test subject for a new compound which Daggett promised would restore Cassius's facial features. When Hagan was caught trying to steal a large quantity of the compound from Daggett, Daggett's henchman caught Cassius and poured a canister of the compound down his throat.
Despite Daggett's intentions, the substance did not kill Cassius, instead saturating his entire cell makeup with a claylike substance that allowed Hagan to shape his body into any form he wished. This change soon drove Cassius insane, and now he roams Gotham trying to conjure up enough money and resources to find a cure for his affliction.
Special Abilities: Malleable Clay-like Body: Being chemically altered gave him the ability to regenerate body mass, change shape, size, density and shapeshift into any form he can think of.
