OOC: This is the character That started it all for me. Albeit he was rough in the begining, he had flourished into a full idea, complete to a tee. How I may finally write my dreams I had, revive my fallen thoughts (That had been lost when the invisionfree board aerion was deleted), and end the saga. I don't remember the events well, but I intend to rewrite as much as humanly possible. I can also re-write certain aspects now that the oppressive veil of that board has ben lifted from my shoulders (That moron admin isn't telling me to turn it down). I think I shall start this with a more appropriate intro.
"No..! Oh lord no, no, no, no..."
Watching over the ruins of his home, the young child stood in shock and sobbed. A thundering roar echoed from the middle, a great demon rose up from the hellish flames. It's eyes shone like globes of magma, casting about for more victims. Great wings spread out like rolling smoke and covered a section of the city. The flames turned obsidian with whisps of green. A moan of anguish rumbled from the destroyed buildings, pained souls began to rise and funnel into its furace of a maw.
Delicate hands grasped him by the shoulders and urged him to turn away, but he remained still. The hands moved over his eyes, then he felt fatigue run over him, and he fainted.
"No.. they're all.. why am I the only.."
"Hnn... morning already..?" a slumped figure whines quietly, stirring a bit.
His dark eyes peered out and glanced around. The sun broke through the foliage of the trees, catching him in the eyes a couple times. He covered his face with a hand and yawned.
"Another day, another dream. Why do I get these nightmares, are they really my..?" he murmured, pulling his hand away and staring at it.
He got up, stretched and shook his head a few times. He picked up his blades and strapped them onto his back in their holster. A stare down each way of the path, a shrug and the man walked on down the road. The wind blew quietly about him, his cloak flapping freely.
My name... is Mathias. Just that. I don't remember much of my childhood, or of myself. My life is lost to me, and I am consumed with one task. It will take my life, one way or another. I have no one in this world, as I am to all else. I am a ghost, a whisper, a demon that passes without trace.
